Have you added your kids to your I-20 as that would be the first step, as long as they are included on your I-20 by the school, you can contact the embassy support desk for support in adding them as dependents for the F2 visa, and yes, you can should include it on your DS-160 since they will be mentioned on your I-20 anyways that you have accompanying dependents.

Yes I have I-20 forms for them. I have already booked my own visa appointment. I don't know how to include them so that we can go for the interview together.

A quick advise here.

My school just sent me an updated i-20 form with a new start date of 31st May 2022 instead of the previous start date of 1st June 2022 and also a change of school official to contact upon arrival.

My challenge now is that I have already submitted the details of the previous i-20 on my DS-160 form and the arrival date I stated earlier on the DS-160 form is now the new school start date on the new i-20 just issued.

For the sake of the interview, is it okay to stick to the previous i-20 form as my interview is in 4 days time. Or should I fill a new DS-160 form.

I am asking because I believe the interviewer at the embassy might want to confirm the start date with the school especially if the interview goes well visa is approved.

But now school haven’t send me an updated I20 yet or anything regards to the scholarship. Please how will I go about this at embassy on Monday morning pls. I have an i20 already with no fund no personal funds just COA only.

I am married with one daughter.

If I put my fathers name on my visa application then I have to put single or can I put married, I have marriage certificate but my international passport is having my fathers name.

The name you use on your visa application must match the name on your passport.

You can still put married and have ready the reason why you haven't done the name change, IF that question comes up; my wife's 2 previous US visas were under her maiden name, but we indicated on her applications that I was her spouse and sponsoring her trips on her application. Just have your marriage certificate and the newspaper clipping, but they almost never ask anyways.

Yes, this has been the norm since COVID-19; just go for your interview with a signed clear copy of the I-20 to the interview.

But at the moment in other to book early appointment date, I want to use the SEVIS fee details from another university where I have no funding but the I-20 is readily available. I’m asking if I can still edit it when the other I-20 is available?
