To be honest, PDP may win in a free and fair election in Osun state, but in this coming election in Osun state, APC may win by crook.

Forget the masses in the images, most of them are anywhere belle face people.

If Aregbe supports Adeleke, he is guaranteed to lose.

Have you been to the North before? You'd see more of that. The cap too. That's not a religious regalia

It’s something mostly worn by Muslims. Just a facade he’s putting up now to appeal to the Muslim electorates in Osun. Same with the recently added “Nurudeen” to his name.

Ife is known to be pdp town since 1999 and nothing has change that till today. I remember vividly how Aregbesola usually complain of not getting required support in ife land.

We do support Omisore simple because is our son . Now our son is contesting as deputy Governor on the platform of Apc ,do you expect us to abadone him and go with Omisore? Someone who is fighting for his pocket . Of what benefit is National secretary of a benefit to ife land You need to be wise.

Ife people are not subservient to Omisore most of us is going with Adewusi , the chosen deputy Governor, am sure his party is costing to victory in ife central, ife east and ife north , Apc might take ife south
MrMcJay:
I honestly don't see Adeleke winning Osun. If Aregbe supports him, maybe he will get 35% out of 100. But if not, he should forget it. 3 major factors are backing Oyetola in this election. Civil servants, Apc structure and Omisore.

There is no Adam Oshiomhole to engineer the remote control in 2023.

Oyetola is more or less an invisible governor...

PRESS RELEASE
14/05/2022

Osun 2022: Senator Adeleke unveils 5-point agenda, vows to unseat Oyetola at the poll

The Osun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke on Friday says Osun people's moment of despair is almost over as he is poised to unseat the rudderless Gboyega Oyetola administration in the July 16 governorship poll.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at a rally held in Osogbo, the state capital, Senator Adeleke declared his readiness to reverse the unfavourable conditions on the people of the state as a result of Oyetola's disastrous performance over the past three years.

Senator Adeleke said given his painstaking study of the need of the people, he has come up with clear plans that can offset their pains and cause a positive change in the situation of the people and the state. He went on to unveil a 5-point agenda that will drive his policy as Governor in order to meet the yearnings of the people.

He promised to give the welfare of workers and pensioners the attention it deserves, noting that as Governor he will ensure "First line charge for workers' welfare, salaries, gratuities, and pensions."

Others on the list are: "Boosting State economy by business partnering and support for business class; Osun money serving Osun people through homegrown infrastructure policy; People-focussed social policy through skill-based education, affordable health care, state security, and social security support; and Agro-based Industrialisation for wealth and job creation for youths and women."

Senator Adeleke assured Osun people that he will work on putting the decaying infrastructures back in shape, saying unlike what is happening under the APC government, his main interest will be Osun people and not lining the pockets of friends and cronies.

Welcoming the mammoth crowd at the rally, the Director General of the Adeleke Campaign Organization, Hon Sunday Bisi urged the people of the state to eschew violence in the face of APC provocations but should do everything to protect their votes for the PDP in the July 16 governorship election.

According to the DG, APC are aware their time is up in the state, hence, their resort to all manners of antics, including habitual sweeping of PDP campaign venues as well as dishing out 'end time' promises.

Also speaking at the rally, a prominent leader of the party in the state, Akogun Lere Oyewumi commended the people of Osogbo and indeed Osun Central for their massive show of support for the PDP and the candidate, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

He admonished electorate in the senatorial district not to cave in to any form of intimidation in the forthcoming election, saying, nothing should dissuade them from replicating their unprecedented support at the poll.

Oladele Bamiji, HOB,
Secretary, Media and Publicity Committee,
Senator Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation

Aregbe wouldn't do that, you know?
He may be eyeing a senatorial seat, with the heat on Oyetola, he may reach an agreement with i.e he may condition Oyetola.
Oyetola wouldn't want to disagree because his godfather is busy with his own campaign.

This is the thing, Osun election is very important to Tinubu, Aregbe, and Oyinlola.
You know if they lose, e go affect their reach now and after 2023?

He wouldn't do anything funny even though he's lost his relevance and it's only by reconciling with Oyetola before the election that can redeem him and his TOS boys.

Everyone knows Adeleke won the last election but was manipulated out...

Now on what grounds will Osun people be supporting Oyetola?

Is it because he has delivered on the dividends of democracy?

Is it because of infrastructural development strides?

Even his party rejected him but had to bow to Tinubu's pressure...

So what are you talking about?

The bolden is a very good point some of these people don't understand.

I don't involve myself in election matters or discussion when it comes to Osun State politics.

Osun state is a civil service state, anyone treating the civil servants well has the better chance and also anyone that doesn't make life difficult for traders, that is anyone that allows them to enjoy certain level of freedom without making their daily activities difficult for them also has better chance.

About the other people, those in the images posted on this post, their support is controllable once the contestant can do the needful.

Oyetola is facing/dealing with people's dislike for his party not to him.
Adeleke is enjoying people's like for his party and not him.

Goodluck to them in their contest!

And you think Aregbe could reconcile with Oyetola when Omisore had been placed as the National secretary undecided Omisore and Aregbe are bitter enemy because they both came from the same senatorial zone and that brings a game of who's most powerful.

It's a fact TOP members might work against the governor . Adeoti will surely work against him and Iwo vote is very massive that might cause a serious catastrophic to the Governor.

Before Makinde became Oyo state governor, he was termed a paperweight politician by your likes, there are other popular or marketable politicians in Osun PDP.

How many top PDP politicians(non-Osun politicians I mean) are supporting or involved in Adeleke's campaign/movement?
Study last Edo election and other gubernatorial elections that took place outside the general election day till now.

Anyway, no need for prolonged argument, till then bro.

February 19th Apc governorship primary election is never a free and fair Apc primary. Adeoti is in court on that. Apc governorship is like the one governor dapo Abiodun conducted in Anambra State last year governorship primary election, at the end, Appeal Court dismissed Senator Andy Uba case in the court and gave the victory to Senator Chris Ngige faction. Apc governorship primary election in Osun was written and not through Direct primary method of election. Everyone knows that. Now Adeoti Moshood is in Federal high court, Abuja to seek justice on the cheat they did against him in the primary election. Omisore isn’t strong in Osun East Senatorial district. As it stands today, Pdp holds Ife federal Constituency where Omisore hailed from , also Pdp Senator is the one occupying Osun East Senatorial district. Aregbesola will surely work against Oyetola reelection bid. Aregbesola force and grassroots supporters will reduce the voting strength of Oyetola of Apc. As it stands today, Aregbesola Isn’t contesting for any political positions but maintaining is ministerial seat at the Center In Abuja territory. In Osun East Senatorial district Pdp wins the district. Oyetola has destroyed Osun State Apc beyond repair. Top caucus of Osun State Apc has vowed to work against Oyetola reelection bid.
