If you listen to buhari talk at length you will know his health is not sound. Money and modern medicine are keeping him on his last legs. That's why appears unconcerned about Nigeria's many problems. The old sick man does not want to die from concerns about Nigeria's problems. wink

And I wonder why you are comparing tinubu of 1999 to tinubu of today healthwise. I am neither for him nor against him but even a blind man can see he is unhealthy.

I asked a direct harmless question on how you think his health and age could impair his ability as a president. I expected a meaningful debate from you but instead you are showing signs of anger and blind followership by asserting the man is in top shape for the job.

What do you mean by Tinubu of 1999 to Tinubu of today is there any scientific evidence that says an old man can't perform as a President abi weytin u dey talk?

Answer to the bold is simple it will not final... grin

But why has Tinubu put Lagos under his armpit? Do you wany him to do to Nigeria what he has done to Lagos? Besides the man is now so old compared to 1999 which was 23 years ago. You can see the man's hand shaking sometimes or do you need video evidence of that?

Compares to Nigeria most profitable/biggest Zenith- made 160m in a quarter....Equity in 3-5yrs will have overtaken all Nigeria banks
To be biggest bank outside South Africa in SSA.

Tinubu put Lagos under his armpit...Tinubu choking Lagos.... Lagos is Tinubu empire... Tinubu is draining Lagos.. blablabla this lines are become stale and useless propaganda believed by dull heads.. grin

At the bold.... Yes cheesy if PDP after 16years can't make the entire Nigeria to be like Lagos..then Tinubu is best thing to happen to Nigeria.

They claim he loot Lagos but still all those state free from looting can't match Lagos cheesy all those contesting can't even perform what Tinubu performed when he was Governor yet he is looting the Lagos they couldn't replicate.... a Lagos he meet with ordinary 600 million naira GDP but left it with 80 billion plus GDP with the whole looting he did.

Failed politician that can't even survive without allocation, but Tinubu survived despite federal government withholding 24 billion plus allocation for Lagos... I will keep saying it Tinubu is the best thing to happen to Nigeria.

Hate him or like him...his leadership, vision and achievements will speak for him louder than you lots propaganda....

Next time don't compare Tinubu to rubbish....

I repeat no Governor dead or alive can beat Tinubu achievement.....period.
Peter Obi’s FUNDAMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS as GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE (PARTIAL LISTING)

1. Anambra was the first State to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, I left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds.

2. For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United States, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State. Before my tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners.

3. Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance.

4. He was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP-MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria.

5. The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects.

6. The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country.

7. The State’s ground-breaking return of schools to their original owners – Voluntary Agencies (Churches) on 1st January 2009, and subsequent partnership with the Agencies in Education, saw the State move from 24th position out of 36 States to Number One in National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations for three consecutive years. This made the World Bank to commission a study, led by the renowned Prof. Paul Collier of Oxford University, on this revolutionary partnership and phenomenal achievement.

8. The State also entered into strategic partnership with the Churches in the Health sector. This symbiotic relationship resulted in a tremendous boost to health care because of the services offered by health institutions owned by Voluntary Agencies, while the State restored grants to the agencies and made available to them more than 50 million Dollars in various types of support.

10. Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, his Government funded the transformation of -:

a: Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi;
b: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala;
c: St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha;
d: Holy Rosary Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha; and
e: St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu.
His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed.

11. His Government won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (1 Million dollars) as the best-performing state in immunisation in the South-East. With complementary funding from our Government, they used the money to build 10 Maternal and Child Care Centres across the State, particularly in rural communities, in partnership with the Churches.

12. The State was the first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools, including 22,500 from HP. The Managing Director for Personal Systems Group HP Inc, Mr. FabriceCampoy described the deployment as the biggest of such projects in the Middle-East and Africa.

13. Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far.

14. The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone (Mr. Gerald Ilukwe) characterized as incomparable to any in the country.

15. More than 700 buses were provided to secondary schools in the State by our Government.

16. Boreholes were provided in schools all over the State.

17. Numerous classrooms were built in all the 177 communities of the State.

18 As part of the efforts to turn around the economy of the State, a number of companies were attracted to build their facilities in the Anambra State. A case in point is SABMiller, the 2nd largest brewery in the world, which built their first Green Field facility in the State, which is today one of the most successful facilities they operate globally.

19. A number of other companies followed the SABMiller initiative and were all supported and encouraged under our Government; a good example is INNOSON Motor Manufacturing Company, from which our government bought more than 1,000 vehicles.

20. Anambra State for the first time started close collaboration with recognized government security agencies (the Police, Army, Navy, Department of State Security, Civil Defence, among others), offering them various types of support including provision of more than 500 security vehicles. The improvement in security was phenomenal, such that the former IG of Police (Abubakar Mohammed) lauded Anambra State for not witnessing any bank robbery in my last three years in office.

21. To further enhance security, Anambra State provided at least one security vehicle to each of all the 177 communities in the State as well as various organizations such as markets and Churches.

22. His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka.

23. His Government commenced the planned development of the Igbariam Campus of the ChukwuemekaOdumegwu-Ojukwu University, including the fencing, construction of internal roads, electrification, construction of the Faculty of Law, Auditorium, Administrative Block, Faculty of Agriculture, Management Building, among others).

24. His Government attracted the World Bank support on erosion – National Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – to Anambra State.

25. His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies.

26 His Government, for the first time, undertook the aerial mapping of Awka as well as the production of Structure Plans for Awka Capital Territory, Onitsha and Nnewi.

27. During his tenure and with his Government’s support, Anambra State became an oil producing State.

28. He built the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the State.

29. His government commenced the development of the ‘Three Arms Zone’ comprising Government House/Governor’s Lodge, Legislative Building/Speakers Residence, and Judiciary Building with Chief Judge’s Residence.

30. By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than twelve (12) health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation; when we took off in 2006, no health institution in Anambra State was duly accredited.

31. Anambra State was the first to undergo national peer review, which scrutinised State Governments for good governance, through the State Peer Review Mechanism (SPRM), an initiative of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the DFID.

Tinubu still dey learn work for where peter obi dey, Ahswear!

At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, I left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds.!

Rubbish and stale cheesy 8 years wasted with nothing to show..no landmark infrastructure or any notable achievement busy flaming ig no dept while the state remains backward with a GDP more then 100 times lesser than Lagos GDP cheesy A governor is not appointed or elected to leave without dept while his state remains under developed and inconsequential.. grin

Kuruptnigga:
2. For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United States, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State. Before my tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners.!

Jesus shocked so this is an achievement cheesy and some here was saying people like me are the problem of Nigeria.... Generaldae shey u dey see abi grin

Kuruptnigga:
3. Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance..

]So receiving aid from NGOs and World bank is also an achievement.... When Lagos was partnering with both government and private institution during Tinubu time Anambra was an hellhole...and guess if till this day still remains one.... grin

Kuruptnigga:
4. He was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP-MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria.

this is alsob an achievement cheesy if we are to go by this, then Obi Pandora is no match for Tinubu

For Tinubu excellent performance as the Executive Governor of
Lagos State of Nigeria (1999 - 2007), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu received several awards.
These include
• Best Governor in Nigeria for Year 2000 by the Nigerian-
Belgian Chamber of Commerce;
• Year 2002 Best Practices Prize in improving the living
environment, awarded by the Federal Ministry of Works and
the UN Habitat Group;
• Citation by the New York based World Trade Association on
June 12, 2002, as the symbol of progress in Nigeria. The only
other recipient in Africa was President Nelson Mandela of
South Africa.

Kuruptnigga:
5. The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects.
Lolzzz...least incepted by still underdeveloped with no worthy infrastructure to boast of but award and meaningless achievements.

Kuruptnigga:
6. The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country.

And yet can't survive with allocation... grin

Kuruptnigga:

Another hopeless achievement... Tinubu was the first to return missionary schools to their rightful owners so that is not an achievement cheesy

Kuruptnigga:

Yet Doctors went to 13 months of strike during his tenure... what a shame grin

Kuruptnigga:
10. Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, his Government funded the transformation of -:

a: Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi;
b: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala;
c: St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha;
d: Holy Rosary Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha; and
e: St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu.
His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed.

Yet not amongst the best hospital in Nigeria and can't even make top ten in Lagos grin

Kuruptnigga:

Yet Lagos top state with highest fintech in Africa

Tinubu initiated the development of Computer education
and provision of equipment to special schools

Kuruptnigga:
13. Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far.

Microsoft.... cheesy when Lagos had started providing basic computer and programming knowledge to primary school students grin

Kuruptnigga:
14. The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone (Mr. Gerald Ilukwe) characterized as incomparable to any in the country.

Yet has one of the lowest internet penetration in the country grin

Kuruptnigga:
15. More than 700 buses were provided to secondary schools in the State by our Government.

When Tinubu already provide thousands to schools all over Lagos including motorized boats.. I will pass Obi Pandora achievements are useless than I taught grin

Kuruptnigga:
16. Boreholes were provided in schools all over the State.

Basics...Tinubu already checked that all over Lagos not just schools...

Kuruptnigga:
17. Numerous classrooms were built in all the 177 communities of the State.

Thousands where built, renovated and equipped during Tinubu tenure..

Kuruptnigga:
18 As part of the efforts to turn around the economy of the State, a number of companies were attracted to build their facilities in the Anambra State. A case in point is SABMiller, the 2nd largest brewery in the world, which built their first Green Field facility in the State, which is today one of the most successful facilities they operate globally.

When Guinness already operating in Lagos cheesy Lagos of Tinubu time dwarf Anambra of today when it comes to investment grin

Kuruptnigga:
19. A number of other companies followed the SABMiller initiative and were all supported and encouraged under our Government; a good example is INNOSON Motor Manufacturing Company, from which our government bought more than 1,000 vehicles.

When we have JAC, Toyota etc in Lagos abegi cheesy

Kuruptnigga:

This has been done by even the must useless governors in Nigeria... nothing extraordinary.. grin

Kuruptnigga:
21. To further enhance security, Anambra State provided at least one security vehicle to each of all the 177 communities in the State as well as various organizations such as markets and Churches.

Samething with what you said at you number 20 stop repetition

Kuruptnigga:
22. His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka.

Nobody cares if it is the first state of hospital of Anambra all state has it.. grin

Kuruptnigga:

Tinubu did hundreds of this during his tenure they are just basic grin

Kuruptnigga:
24. His Government attracted the World Bank support on erosion – National Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – to Anambra State.

Aid Aid Aid grin

Kuruptnigga:
25. His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies.

Yet poorer that Lagos grin

Kuruptnigga:
26 His Government, for the first time, undertook the aerial mapping of Awka as well as the production of Structure Plans for Awka Capital Territory, Onitsha and Nnewi.

This achievement are just useless aswear..Generaldae hope you dey see shomtin grin

Kuruptnigga:
27. During his tenure and with his Government’s support, Anambra State became an oil producing State.

So this is also Pandora achievement.. cheesy I don die grin

Kuruptnigga:
28. He built the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the State.

What is extraordinary about this all state has it grin

Kuruptnigga:
29. His government commenced the development of the ‘Three Arms Zone’ comprising Government House/Governor’s Lodge, Legislative Building/Speakers Residence, and Judiciary Building with Chief Judge’s Residence.

An other fruitless achievement... even Sokoto did better grin

Kuruptnigga:
30. By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than twelve (12) health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation; when we took off in 2006, no health institution in Anambra State was duly accredited.

This are Anambra problem nothing new to other states

One would imagine these are well known personalities; and focus should be on their manifesto; what they are promising to do; their ideas; and the future. Not everything he did in the office 25yrs ago. What are they proposing to fix electricity crisis for example?

At least this focus of kenya politics - what will you do?

For example Ruto (who I am supporting) is promising amongst other things - universal health coverage -No Kenyan will pay for medication once we assume office this year because they will all be under the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) cover. That is our priority at Kenya Kwanza.

Raila who I dont support - is promising welfare cheque for every jobless or poor family of 6,000kshs (60 dollars) every month.

>>Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has defended his decision to give unemployed Kenyans Ksh6,000 monthly stipend noting that the state had enough money to set up the Ksh100 billion Social Welfare Fund.

One joke - governor of muranga - is promising every kenya a cow smiley

>>“Some say that they will give out Ksh.6,000 to the needy but my government will provide every Kenyan citizen with a cow.One home, one cow, and I will make this come true. I want to start it before being elected as President,” he explained.

Nigeria politics is messed up. The focus should be debating and discussing solutions to problem facing it. They should be talking day and night on fixing electricity crisis, bringing millions of kids to school, solving security challenges, the collapsed federal infrastructure and growing internal revenues.

But it's about - what I did 20yrs ago to provide desks to 10 primary schools.

Kenya politics - it's 2.5 months to the general election - the two leading candidates are well known - one has been prime minister - one is current deputy president.

Opinion polls indicate it's neck to neck...although Ruto has an edge. I also believe based on my tribal modelling of kenya mostly ethnic based politics that Ruto is going to win in 1st round.

The running mates (Deputy President) will be unveiled before the deadline on Monday...today or tomorrow.

Then manifestos will follow. The focus of the candidates is the future...to sell their ideas on how they will make life better for kenyans.

By time you want to be president your track record should be known - and focus should be on the manifesto or issues.

Nigeria will end up electing another Buhari for what he did in 1985 - this time it's Tinubu- for what he did in 1990s - then they arrive too old too weak too senile too tired to do anything except breath and other basic metabolism.

This Muranga county where he is the governor

There are cows in kenya that will cost you even 3 million Naira.

We have definitely built Africa best dairy industry - and if Nigeria copied kenya - you could eliminate lot of poverty and fulani mess.

Exactly why Governor Muranga is my preffered candidate. Trust me, Kenyans need those free cows.

But let me ask you this:
When you interview candidates for a job, what is your scoring criteria? Is it:
1) The Ideas they supposedly have( what they said they would do)? OR
2) What they have done before?

Promise is different from reality...it a wish for you, but for them it a tool or ladder to get to power.

Tinubu is greater than any Kenya politician dead or alive..including the drunkard Uhuru the failed Kenya Messiah cheesy

Now Ruto or Raila the upcoming drug addicts grin
