Flight booking is not necessary or required but evidence of accommodation is necessary. You can book for a hotel with a free cancellation option

It's a generic mail they send to applicants once they receive ur application. I see that it is somewhat different now cos they clearly stated that they cant complete ur application within the usual 15working days. Guess they have high work volume, so what they told you is indirectly applicable to everyone who applied recently.

Yes you can scan and upload all the current and expired visas to show your travel history

You should be able to use the Naira Debit Master card

Many has and from their experiences the tracking seems to be slow at stage 3 until TLS receives ur application back from DMC and the whole thing appears fast again. A good number of people receive collection mail from TLS within 2weeks of getting a "decision has been made" update from DMC. This is based purely on what i observe here and may not be true in every case.

The first refusal was because the only birth certificate she presented was the hospital birth certificate, this second application included both hospital birth certificate and NPC birth certificate. So how they didn't look through the NPC issued one is really surprising.

For a child whose initial refusal had doubts per birth certificate, more should have been done to prove that this child actually belongs to said parents. why only 2 photographs attached and why the initial disputed hospital birth certificate added again?
A parent should be able to have more than 2 photos pls, if also biological child.. from pregnancy till 2 years there should be tons of photo and documentary proofs of this.
A cover letter could also have been written to adress the previous refusal.
It’s possible this eco saw what his/her colleague said the last time, again on seeing this hospital bc did not go on to check or did not see the NPC own
You can send a mail for reconsideration because NPC cert was actually submitted or reapply and contest this and add proofs to clear this child’s birth and parental history because the doubt has further been strengthened by this 2nd refusal.

no appeal rights for visit visa. can only ask for reconsideration and/or complain which may or may not be attended to.. which may or may not be reconsidered

the BC from the hospital could not have been seen as additional… according to you it was the reason for 1st refusal.. why again come add am?

Both were visit, where the child was given invitation letter from our other brother (who is on skilled worker visa) with documents and evidence of accommodation (rental agreement, council tax payment, evidence of residency etc etc)

I paid for TLS post submission express courier service because I realized a week after Biometrics I can't travel back to Lagos for my document. I was surprised to receive collection mail on 6th May and up till now my document has not been delivered. I even sent mail to them and they have not replied.
Any advice on what to do?

If indeed you submitted NPC birth certificate, then the decision is very likely to be upturned if you request for Administrative Review. Send paid and non paid mails airing your displeasure - politely. Repeat the mails three, four, five days after. You'll definitely get a response.
