Rubbish....

A huge population becomes a problem when they are unproductive like Kenya were 90% of it population are unproductive and useless to the point were thousands die of poverty and starvation...bunch humanoid looking dead sticks far East grin grin

You come with pointer or forever STFU! That's how I roll.

Let's try unemployment rate. % of the total unemployed labor force.

Pick a calculator and do QM. Let's see which country has a huge unproductive population.

Population per country:
Kenya, 49m as of 2022.
Nigeria, 210m more or less.

Use the WB data below and give us the digits of unproductive population - in numbers.

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS

I wonder where you are getting your population figures from but the very World Bank that you are quoting puts your population figures at 54 million people as at 2020.
Which means your population is 57.8 million people this year.

They also quote your per Capita GDP at 1800 dollars

Expound the argument emboldened.

And the topic at hand is population.

@rvp2018, you were right on catching up with jorburg - SA. We just need to fix our horizontal infr and everything will be perfect.

Nigeria is currently out of the league. The focus is now on SA and N.Africa.

Lol you are completely delusional. Singapore my ass.

Because of a newly built road,I give that road 4 month max you will be back here to hide the dust and Wretchedness with a filter.

Are you hallucinating?

We might have a similar problem but the grandness that lies in your zoo is undisputed.

For starters, Population in itself is a problem. You can reduce it through basic family planning. Then stretch the efforts to city policy; eradicate open defecation, corruption, and slum sprawling. Then later on we can talk about poverty, child trafficking, drug dealing, crime rate, and whatnot.

Lol everything you listed above Kenya equally faces. Maybe on a smaller scale and that no thanks to your population. Albeit I can’t take away the fact that whilst yours might be smaller it’s a lot more intense, wicked than what a bigger Nigeria is raving. So save me your senile advices and utilize them at the polls.

Lol this doesn’t need an argument,if 54% of Nigerians are living in slum(which is an outdated fallacy) then the entire Kenya is a slum. Not too much words,I hope my show rings a bell.

If we nail the housing thing in big 4 - build 500,000 units - eliminate Kayoles/such - and just get proper mass trasport - metro - South Africa is shadow. We are 10yrs behind them. By 2035 Nairobi will be Africa best city...if we keep up the tempo.

I keep saying development in SA is not limited to 1 city

500 000 housing unit will only help around 2m people, after all it will be effective only if people buy in to them.

Remember Rwanda built housing units called it.... City which has no tenants,

My brother, are you pained or smth?

Nairobi is constructing 5 different flyovers. Your brain is only clued on one - which is better than anything in SSA. I might be wrong, but maybe you're just jealous.

Western bypass has a section of flyover. It has a whopping 9 interchanges! Have you seen anyone celebrating it?

Upper hill viaduct is now 40% complete and the pace is tremendously neck-breaking. It will run all the way from Nairobi Downtown to Upperhill. It's a massive road. Have you seen anyone celebrating it?

Lang'at a flyover is now 90% complete, pics posted here about it are rare.

The missing link is ongoing. It's a flyover.

James gichuru flyover is done and now in use. No Ine has posted it.

I can keep on mentioning but lemme save my energy.

The point is; dwell on facts, shy away from jealousy, and argue points like a mature guy.

Don't reduce yourself to that guy called samorobo. You can do better. cool

Johannesburg paved road network is 16k

Bone of contention where?

Pretoria is same size as Nairobi, with almost similar wealth, but Pretoria is more developed.... That's where you should be aiming

If you can track most of the development in your country know that you still have a long way to go.

90% of all big projects in the country being in one city...

If a country is celebrating a 27km road construction, you still have a long way to go as a country

And, Casablanca is tiny but better than Joburg, so your point about size is stupid.

We have 654km lapsset under construction. It is now 90% done. It stretches from Lamu Mombasa to Ethiopia and another part to South Sudan.

No one has posted it, does that mean we're the legends, Shackman.?

And mind you, out of 27km, nearly 3/4 is elevated with smart traffic control system, CCTV, 18m high, standard toll stations, etc. In a nutshell, it's a 27km world-class road. I would have celebrated it even if it was 5kms.

By the way the lapset project has been posted many time by Kenyans all over the internet. At least you'll have something to post about since 27km road is complete wink
