Beautifulchy: Hello everyone, Please I need a guide,I am a bit confuse and need direction on the right course of study to follow,i a female civil engineer here in Nigeria with an over five years work experience in the construction industry here in Nigeria.COREN certified and a member of NSE.I have 2.2 which is not possible for Masters. I need guide on the best career route to follow as a female and also that will later land me a a good paying job in Canada. With your BEng degree, you could get admitted for PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip. in Engineering, System Automation or Computer and IT related courses. These lines of job are lucrative and in-demand in Canada. This means you'll quickly get jobs: hence, your route to Permanent Residence will be smooth if you wish to get PR. |

I noticed that everyone that got there ppr today submitted IELTS ( according to there time-line). Looks like ielts is a plus. That is merely a guess. No one knows because of the way IRCC operates. I may say that 80 percent of the approvals a few months ago did not write IELTS. It's just been different this time, at least in my opinion. 3 Likes |

If you have a liquidated investment, it is a proof of funds provided you can explain that you opted for the investment from your past savings because of inflation and that you will like to earn on your savings since the money has been lying fallow in your account without an interest. |

Congratulations quin9: Timeline It has ended in praise!!! I return all Glory to the most high God. VIsa Background: I have had 2 previous Canada Visits refusals,one student visa refusal and USA refusal(at renewal).I mentioned them on the forms but only talked about the Study permit refusal on my letter of explanation. School: University Canada West Course: MBA *First Application* * Applied 28th of September * Biometric done since 2019 Upfront Medical 7th September(before application) it was updated to pass on 25th of October Refusal November 8th Reason: Based on economic and employment situation. Ordered Gcms Nov 12,Recieved 12th January 2022.
*2nd Application* Applied November 21,2022 PPR: 16th May 2022. Sent Enrollment letter through Webform in January (I resumed classes online). I finished first term online and took a break off the second term to wait for visa.
BACKGROUND I started following this thread In 2018,that time ehn refusal rate was high,And processing time na die!.I got discouraged,I decided to try visiting visa and was denied twice,then I gave up on Canada.Last year I decided it was time to Japa.Masters in UK was the plan I was already in the process when i realized I could actually just try Canada first.I immediately came back and started reading this thread,I contacted one of your favorites here to handle my application but unfortunately I was refused.I dusted myself up,encouraged myself by myself immediately based on knowledge gathered here,I did my thing myself this time,wrote a New SOP(when Gcms came,they said my study plan was poorly documented and vague!),if only VO knew how much I paid e no go talk that rubbish…lol.Well I gathered all the missing documents,I knew could address the concerns and refired.
What I did differently 1. I included my CV(I had seen people get PPR without submitting it,so I didn’t add it in the first app). 2. letter of introduction stating my position and role as a Director (in hubby’s company). 3. Reference letter from past employer 4. Letter of introduction from my personal business 5. Bank Reference letter from my personal business account. 6. Invoices/ business receipts 7. Business card 8. Pictures of business premises and me at work 9. Nominations and award certificates and pictures 10. Lots and lots of prayer.
* Documents Submitted*
*IRCC FORMS* 1. Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM1294E), 2. Family Information form (IMM5645E) 3. Temporary Resident form (IMM5257B)
*Applicants personal documents* 1. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission, 2. Tuition Deposit Receipt 3. Birth Certificate 4. Police Character Certificate 5. WAEC Certificate 6. Passport Bio data page 7. family picture (parents,siblings and another including their spouses nieces/nephews) 8. Statement of Purpose (SOP) 9. NYSC discharge certificate 10. Degree certificate 11. Transcripts 13. IELTS Certificate 14. 1 copy of Passport Photograph. 15. Parent’s ID (NIN slips) 16. Previous visa and travel stamps
*Employment/financial documents*
1. Certificate of business registration(mine) 2. Letter of Introduction from husband's company indicating that i’m a director 3. Particulars of directors of the business 4. Statement of Accounts (All MBS)Two of mine,One of the business and One of hubby’s. 5. 4 months payslips 6. Employment letter 7. Study leave letter 8. Reference from past employer 9. Business invoices,introduction letter,Business card,pictures of me at work,business space,Awards and nominations
*Proof of Relationship Documents*
1. Pictures with husband and kids 2. Marriage Certificate 3. Wedding Photos 4. Affidavit of change of Name 5. Newspaper change of name
*Husband’s Documents*(Sponsor)
1. Certificate of business registration 2. Particulars of directors of the company 3. Article of Association and Memorandum 4. International passport bio data page 5. letter of Sponsorship 6. Landed property documents(Deed only for all). 7 . Tenancy agreements and rent receipts from Tenants. 9 .Statement of Account 10. Letter of non-indebtedness from bank(for the business) 11. Notarized letter of Consent(for son)
*Child’s Documents* 1. Birth Certificates 2. International passport bio data pages 3. Email correspondence with a Daycare center close to my school.
I created a table of content and a link to each document so it’s easy for VO to access them.
NOTE: Na God dey give PPR in all.There is nothing like too much documents,just ensure it’s relevant to prove your case,I added only the basics in the first application and I thought my app was well packaged but basics didn’t work for me,even the SOP by a guru who handled my app from start to finish didn’t cut it.Imagine all the extras I needed to prove my case,things that I never even attached much importance to,when I read timelines of people who added all these documents,I felt like they were doing the most but see me,I ended in those same shoes. To add,one of my Gcms notes,also came in today. Best wishes to everyone praying and believing God for PPR …May the Same joy locate you.

Don't limit yourself. Geology because that's what I studied (undergraduate). Never heard about "Geospatial Data Analytics". Is the course highly in demand in Canada?? |

This is a Data Analytics course but channeled towards Geology, Surveying, Meteorology, Soil Science etc This means you can also work as a Data Analyst (General). Data Analytics is an in-demand profession in Canada 1 Like |

Wow its really raining PPR's this week. Congratulations. May the land of Canada favour u. Mine is next in Jesus name. JayEjabz: Yay!! Pls guys pop champagne for me tonight! God is too faithful to fail!!! I am here to testify. Second Time applicant!! First application was refused in August 2021 based on personal assets and financial status.
*2nd Application New portal* Applied April 7th 2022 Eligibility April 19th, 2022 Medical request April 23rd 2022 Medicals updated April 30th 2022 PPR: 16th May 2022 School: Memorial University of Newfoundland Course: MA Political Science
BACKGROUND I started this journey in 2020 and learnt everything on my own with help from my amazing friends,some I met here on nairaland, the admission I got was so expensive and the Vo didn't think it was a reasonable expense and honestly I agree I couldn't comfortably afford that tuition...so I just gave up because I was afraid of starting all over trying to get admission again and stuff but in Jan this year I got encouraged again and decided to apply to Memorial it was a late application and I was lucky.... I got entrance scholarship too and it was cheaper/affordable. My fear was that my POF was now half of what I submitted earlier and also I wasn't employed just doing little business but God favored me regardless.
This time I included landed properties in my name for personal assets and paid my half tuition cos the other half was covered by the entrance scholarship and added my brother a police officer as a co sponsor to cover finances and wrote a convincing letter of explanation.
* Documents submitted*
1. Letter of Admission 2. Tuition Receipt through webform 3. Birth Certificate 4.Passport Bio data page 5. family picture (parents,wedding pix and convocation pix) 6. Letter of Explanation 7. NYSC discharge certificate 8. Degree certificate 9. Transcripts 10. IELTS Certificate 11.Certificate of my business registration 12. Marriage Certificate 13. Affidavit of change of Name 14. Newspaper change of name 15. My bank statements 3-mine and 2 sponsors(hubby and brother) 16. letter of Sponsorship 2 17. Employment letter 2 for sponsors 18. International passport bio data page 2 for sponsors, work ID cards, Commission Letters and Promotion letters 19. Landed property documents in my name 20 reference letters from former jobs and internships
Its the Lords doing and it is marvelous. I wish you all a rain of PPR and please don't ever give up on ur application..It gets harder sometimes before it gets easy, last year I waited almost 5mnths and got a rejection now I got an approval in 1mnth 9days.
Special thanks to my darling husband for every support..I can't even name them....to my brother for jumping in at the last minute and providing all the needed documents. Special thanks to my dear friends Mike Alara of Toronto , Victor of Winnipeg and Ezekiel of Ottawa. Thank you guys for everything, your support and encouragements kept me going. Cheers and God bless nairaland
