The North through Buhari has done 8 straight years and for that bith APC and PDP should not even be considering another Northerner for 2023.

APC is willing to go South but PDP really want to go North because they want this power by force.
So what do you expect APC to do?

APC are not loved in the South, the North is their stronghold.
They can get 60 percent from the South west if Tinubu or PYO is the flag bearer and at best 20 percent from SE and SS.

But if another Southerner apart from Tinubu and PYO gets it they can only get 50 percent from the SW.
Atiku and Kwankwaso will sweep all the Northern votes.

I always wanted APC to go south but if Atiku and Kwonkwoso are contesting then they would be very foolish to do so.

from what you wrote and how you wrote it, it seemed as if you've given the topic a thought, but if that's the case, how did you miss basic facts like : the north having two or more candidates is detrimental to their chances of winning.did you consider how the possible emergence of atiku and kwankwaso as presidential candidates will be a dream for a southern APC candidate especially for someone like Tinubu who will only have to worry about getting 25- 30 percent from the north while Atiku and Kwankwaso cancel each other out? (assuming kwankwaso is as strong as pple think. It's basic maths for fk sake. We don't have to be sentimental about everything and abandon all reason

I have said it before and will say it again that Tinubu has been scammed. Ribadu, Babachir Lawal, Dogara, Jubril, Ganduje, Shettima and co have really dealt with Lagos state tax payers money. Still, baba eko hasn't learned. Desperation has beclouded bullon van daddy. He hasn't gotten the message that the northern elites would not allow Tinubu to have custody of CBN, NNPC, FIRS, CUSTOM and other cash cows because of his antecedent and manner he had held on to Lagos state economy. The establishment would never allow Tinubu near presidential seat in Nigeria. It's a concluded matter. APC chairman will begin to roll out plans from this week and next.

Saraki is a northerner too, mind you and a better chance for him if this game plan works. That would be an easy win for the pdp. Don't think tinubu would remain in that party after primaries. The entire southern states would angrily support the pdp. If this happens, only a few states in the north would complete the winning. Don't think Kano because na dem start the defection tin. More would happen as soon as Ahmed Lawan emerges the apc flagbearer.

FYI, atiku would never be allowed to pick the pdp primaries ticket. He knows this himself

When did Lawan become a political household name in the North and Nigeria? He needed Jagaban and others to pull strings for him to win the Senate Presidency.. Tinubu's crew doesn't even have to decamp before sabotaging APC at the Federal level. They will secure Lagos and allow PDP wreck havoc for the Presidency.
