Just got my passport now.

work visa . One year multiple entry.
Nice one. Told ya. As long as the documentation and story are aligned, you will get it.

Don't forget to validate your visa online within the first 3 months of your arrival - https://administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/particuliers/#/vls-ts/demarches/etape/numero-visa

Hello all, please I have a question

How long can I expect the evaluation process to last after submitting my application and biometrics at VFS? I am asking because I have a trip planned that departs to the US on the night of June 30 and (ideally) from there to France the following week. I filled in the visa forms and all but the earliest available appointment date I'm seeing is June 22. If I take that date can I reasonably expect to get my passport back before my travel date?

Thanks.

Hello all, the embassy said I should report to VSF on the 12th of July 2022. My visa is until 23rd of July.
I intended traveling on the 28th of June.
What if I travel at a later date and return after 12th of July? Will there be implications if I present myself at VSF after 12th of July?

Hello All,

Trying to fill out a France visa application. Please what does one tick here? Just “Cash” since the hotel and flights are mostly reservations?

Also what is the answer to “Number if stays planned in France for the coming year?

For those that have successfully gotten their Toursit visas, kindly assist.

If you requesting for multiple entry put more than one in the number of stays planned in france in the coming year.

Tick cash if you are travelling with cash otherwise tick card and tick accommodation and flight prepaid.

1. If your travel insurance cover the period you are traveling for the new date then no need but if not get a new travel insurance

2 . I don't understand what you mean by entry visa but all visit visa have their rules. US give 2 years but will be stamp in for 6 months by immigration. meaning you can not stay more than 6 months at a visit but France can give you max 3 months on your first visit either multiple or single entry. Multiple is to visit many times within 3 months of your visa duration while single entry you can only visit once and do not stay more than your visa duration.

Thanks HRprof for the response.

I hope you don't mind if I ask you two more questions?

- Do I still need to do PCR test to travel to France

- Are there other forms that I have to fill or travel with?

My flight is for the 24th.

1. No PCR Test for passengers travelling to France if you are vaccinated but if not vaccinated you will need PCR Test before boarding. Meanwhile since many countries are easing covid restrictions kindly check on the airline website for more information
2. I think you need any other form to travel with. But if you are travelling for conference print the invention and your hotel booking also your your return ticket immigration at the airport might ask for them on your arrival. I didn't have my return ticket handy when I travelled I never knew they will ask for it but I have to show immigration the soft copy on my iPad before he cleared me

Also to add that if your last jab is older than 9 months you will have to do Covid test.
