Good morning all. I just stumbled across this Canadian thread and I really appreciate the effort of everyone of you. My brother graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology (3.3/5) and would like to advance his studies in Canada for Spring 2023 admission.Firstly, considering that he graduated with a 2:2, should he apply for masters or pgd. Also, are there schools with cheaper tuition. Finally, I would really appreciate if someone can help with a summary of the process. I tried going through the pages but I am so confused. Thank you 1 Like |

Father Lord, we commit today into your hands.. Bless us and give us that which we have been believing you for. Delay, denial and re-application is not our portion. Have Mercy on us and give us the Grace to find Favor in the eyes of the V.O handling our application. Fill them with the Holy Spirit so they won’t handle any of our applications in anger. Bless us and bless them too... In this new day, we speak divine speed into our applications. Go before us and do that which you are known for because you are not a God of delay or disappointment. We claim every of today’s blessings and we also pray that when our PPR comes, money will not be the issue, when our PPR comes, our healths won’t fail us in Jesus Name! Amen. Congratulations in advance to all the hopefuls 54 Likes 4 Shares |

Good Morning house, please I need some contributions to get some clarity about my application. About last year November 2021, I applied for a study permit. While applying my international passport was valid but will be expired by March 2022, after I submitted my study permit application I applied for a new international because I know the process of getting a Canadian visa is very lengthy and my passport would've expired before I get a feedback from ircc. Fast forward to February 2022, I got an invite by ircc to go for medicals which I did at IOM Ikeja. By march 2022 my status was updated to 'You passed the medical exam' . Since then I haven't gotten any feedback from ircc. I also saw on the CIC website that they have a backlog of medicals they're processing. I want to know if this delay is due to my passport renewal or the medical backlog ? Guru's in the house can also help me on this please. Thank you very much. |

Leyemoshood: They are simply implying that the funds provided is not enough. This is the simple interpretation without taking GCMS into consideration. |

Senorita123:I dont think its possible to do phd without doing masters first and kindly do your research on Google for schools, each school has its own unique program and requirement . "Summary of d process" might not b wat u need. Cost of tution is dependent on program and the school of choice. |

Please guys, how many days does it take IOM Ikeja to send medical info to IRCC, and how can someone request for his medical records from IOM. Email or call or other available means. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 8:02am On May 18, 2022 |
Senorita123: Hi @Senorita123 You cannot get admission even for Master degree because of your 2:2- result or, let me say, it will be difficult. Your best bet is to go for a PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip. It takes 8 months to 2 years to complete this program. If you are able to secure admission and have your admission letter, you can then start to prepare to submit application for study visa. You must be able to show that you have sufficient funds to cater for the study and living. You must also be able to positively convince the Visa Officer on some factors used to assess whether to approve your study visa. In short, this journey is, although one, but divided into two parts, namely; Admission and Visa Application. Seeking admission could take you approximately either 1 year, months, weeks or 2 days. It depends on how you go about it. This is predictable. Study Visa application could take you a day or months depending on how ready your documents are. This is also predictable. Study Visa approval/refusal wait time could take days to more than a year. This part, no one can stipulate an exact time, not even IRCC. There have people who got their visa applications approved within 9 days, 11 days, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months or more. 2 Likes |

Toceen2022: They sent a text to me after 8 days to say my results have been sent to the embassy... As for getting medical records... I don’t know but i guess you mean you want a copy of the result sent to embassy. You would have discussed with the Doctor that attended to you on how to get it. I don’t think the mail and call option would work but you can try. All the best |

Deltagirl2: I guess you have not read anything about it. What kind of visa are you looking to processing? This thread is for Students alone. As for Medicals.. the hospital will do exactly what is needed... Just book and pay 46,500. There are just 2 hospitals in Nigeria that attends to embassy medical needs. 1 Like |

CharitoJames:Thank you very much, that's exactly what I mean, a copy sent to the embassy. Actually, I heard one doctor talking about how someone can get a copy, but I didn't wait to listen to them. Today makes it the 8th day for me as well. But no text or update. |
