Hello everyone, please does anyone know of universities in Canada that accepts hnd for masters in civil engineering. Thanks

Canada don't accept HND for their Masters , your best shot is a PG.CERT in a Civil Engineering related program at a Canadian College

Thank you

Like 2 hrs approx. (For IOM, IKEJA, LAGOS).
It all depends on the time you are attended to.

Thank you.
I wonder why IOM takes much longer... Isn't it the same test. Pfft

Father Lord, we commit today into your hands.. Bless us and give us that which we have been believing you for. Delay, denial and re-application is not our portion. Have Mercy on us and give us the Grace to find Favor in the eyes of the V.O handling our application. Fill them with the Holy Spirit so they won’t handle any of our applications in anger. Bless us and bless them too... In this new day, we speak divine speed into our applications. Go before us and do that which you are known for because you are not a God of delay or disappointment. We claim every of today’s blessings and we also pray that when our PPR comes, money will not be the issue, when our PPR comes, our healths won’t fail us in Jesus Name! Amen.
Congratulations in advance to all the hopefuls

Amen

Please how long does the process take if one's appointment is 8am?

I did mine at IOM Ikeja and I was done in about 3hrs. I think it depends on when you arrive too. I got there about 7:50 thereabouts and was out by 10:40 or so.

Thanks for the reply. For the eligibility, here's what it looks like
For preassessment... its noted i had a misrep. So true... i used a fake agent that messed my application up in 2016 thats like 5yrs ago. I hope the indication there does not imply a negative sign of denial. Abeg analyse for me

buckyfof:

Check your eligibility- what does it say??

And check for pre -assessment notes.. it's usually at the top 2 pages or last 2 pages

I was at IOM, IKEJA, LAGOS today for my upfront. my appointment was for 9am, I got there 9:04am and started off immediately 9:04am - 2pm, I was done and out of the place. Please bear in mind that the whole processing depends on availability of people already in line but all in all Canada medicals is not as bad as UK and some other countries. You might even finish in 2-3hours if you get there early enough, but please eat before going or get something to snack on, cause as I no listen, hunger wire me well well. I hope this helps.

Hello MrDam

You can use a dollar card, or if you have any trusted person in Canada, then you can send the Naira equivalent and the person pays for you..

Peace

Please when entering Canada as a student, must Toronto and Montreal be the port of entry.

I'm seeing Halifax (Nova Scotia) as POE in some flights and the final destination is St. Johns Newfoundland (memorial university)
Please help I need to book a flight asap.

You can book to St.John’s... I’m also enrolled at MUN. Try Ethiopian Airways and enter St.Johns as destination

Thanks for replying to my plea.
I couldn't locate where app is showing active but i can see app status - open. Does it mean same. See attached. As well, Application 1 has status as in progress Application 2 has status as prospective... pls is it what I'm thinking?
On the last 3 pages under "Notes" there's Restricted: No
Biko what does that one mean?
God bless
Anon123:

If your app is still active,

The first or second page with the visa officer's pre-assessment comment.

Pages 10-30 always has the changes that happened in the course of the application being processed.

If you were denied,

Check the last 3pages.

Hello,
Please I want to ask does someone who is going for a post graduate certificate program need an NYSC discharge certificate to apply.
What are the consequences that can arise from not including NYSC discharge certificate in the study permit application?

Please you ideas would be much appreciated

NYSC is not a degree certificate so it won't affect you

Hi Everyone, I just had some questions that I'd really appreciate some clarification with;

1. How close to one's school resumption can one travel without raising an issue at the border?

2. Is it fine to purchase a one way ticket or must purchase a round trip ticket?

Thanks in advance!

No. They mustn't be the port of entry. Nova Scotia is a lot closer to Newfoundland too. You can go ahead and book the flight.

Congrats to all PPR recipients and the hopefuls in advance.

For those that send their new LOA after getting their TRV, how do you know if they’d add it to your file?

I have already submitted web forms three times. First, by using the new web form, also specifically to Nairobi, then to Lagos.

I have also contacted them using emails, but no response yet. How then does one know if they’ve done the needful considering the marking on the screenshot attached?

The screenshot is from the automated response from Nairobi.

For those that have a similar experience, how did you go about it?

Thanks!

Hey buddy, I just feel like replying you cos you over stressing yourself over nothing. My younger bros was in similar situation like yours last year. Once your Trv is approved and the new LOA is from the same school, you are good to travel. At the port of entry the officer only cares about you having a valid TRV and valid LOA. My younger bro didn't bother himself to start disturbing cic with the new LOA like send emails and webforms, he simply booked his flight and got cleared at the port of entry, as I said earlier the officer that will print your study permit at the port of entry only cares of having a valid TRV and Valid LOA. You better book your flight now cos your case is not even an issue.

Thank you very much bro. What if this 3rd party haven't supported ever before and he or she is not blood related?

Iamgrac:
From the little information I've gotten from nairaland over time
Third party sponsorship is allowed
You just need to explain to the vo why such person is willing to sponsor you
And also is he or she can still sponsor you even after catering for his family needs.
And as for what's required, you'll need your sponsor statement of account

Hello gurus. My application was submitted on 23rd March 2022 according to my agent but till now I haven’t get medical notification( I’m outside Nigeria) he sent a validated form imm1294e with some QR code to me to proof that my application has been submitted. Please house is this really a proof that he has submitted my application? ( have been denied before and that was 2015) this is my second application so no biometric is required( he didn’t give me any login, but I have my UCI number with me so I can’t really access my application

Hello sir,
Thanks for the good job you have been doing here.

Is three months statement of account of a sponsor is fine? Also, how can I upload all the documents in "the proof of fund folder" because statement of accounts alone is around 6MB after compressing them?

Will appreciate your input sir. Thanks

Can anyone suggest graduate courses and schools in Canada for medical students (most especially for a doctor with a specialty in Anesthesia )?

Thanks in anticipation for your help.
