A third party sponsor must not necessarily be your blood relative, you just need to prove to the visa officer that a strong relationship exists between you and the sponsor and also explain y he or she wants to sponsor you.
Peace ✌️
Favouriteguy:
Thank you very much bro. What if this 3rd party haven't supported ever before and he or she is not blood related?

The acceptable statement of account, should be at least 4 months.
Are you using the new or old portal?
Gokoyer1401:
Hello sir,
Thanks for the good job you have been doing here.

Is three months statement of account of a sponsor is fine? Also, how can I upload all the documents in "the proof of fund folder" because statement of accounts alone is around 6MB after compressing them?

Will appreciate your input sir. Thanks

Don't kind me sis @Iamgrac

Okay I will hold on to this advice as I am advocating for a friend who wants to use a 3rd party sponsor to achieve this purpose.

No Picture
No relationship

Na to think of convincing story now o

Did you use old GC Key or New IRCC portal?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gokoyer1401: 8:28am On May 19, 2022
Thanks for the speedy reply sir.
I think it's old portal. I opened it 34 days ago.

Primary applicant is going as a student. My question is that, is it acceptable to upload part of proof of fund documents in one of the dependant's( child) client information folders?

Thank you Boss @JustMellow for this write up.

Intended 3rd party is jot a family member, no much of a strong relationship unless few pix which was recently. No educational, financial or economic support...

Intended sponsor lives in UK but visits 9ja at least once or twice a year. So no old picture of any kind.

Tuition fee and living expense can ve arranged to come from Sponsor and PA can also show some level of economic establishment as PA currently owns a registered business as a food vendor with 7yrs experience in the financial industry (resigned).

Do you think there are chances this will fly? Just a little more advice or boost.

Sent u a PM please check

More suggestion is needed @everybody.
Thank you

JustMellow:

Hello Favouriteguy,

Using a third-party sponsorship is not a total red flag if a strong relationship, history of educational, financial, or economic support, and adequate financial commitment can be demonstrated.

Drawing a family tree, sponsor's marriage & birth certificate, related parent's marriage & birth certificate, old photos of your sponsor together with you and/or your family, etc. are good proof of relationship.

Tuition payment and LE transfer to PA is also a good financial commitment demonstration. In all this, PA's parents should play a role. If PA is a matured applicant, PA must demonstrate an adequate level of economic establishment likewise including personal financial statement and employment information.

Best of Luck

Hello guys, I am new here.
Please I need help, I applied for NSCC Admission and they send an email asking for my original waec&neco results which I did sent to them but the problem now is my waec certificate the date-of-birth is different from my original date-of-birth. I went to waec office to complain n beg them if they can help. but they said they can't do anything, I should go n sit for another waec. My
friends are advising me to go and do affidavit but
Nscc are unable to accept third-party corrections, including court affidavits. Please what can I do.

Hello gurus. My application was submitted on 23rd March 2022 according to my agent but till now I haven’t get medical notification( I’m outside Nigeria) he sent a validated form imm1294e with some QR code to me to proof that my application has been submitted. Please house is this really a proof that he has submitted my application? ( have been denied before and that was 2015) this is my second application so no biometric is required( he didn’t give me any login, but I have my UCI number with me so I can’t really access my application

Tell your agent to send you "confirmation of submission" document.

Everyone gets it when they submit their study permit application. That is the real proof there.

Form A is a way of asking the CBN to sell foreign currencies to you in exchange of Naira.

Commercial banks are intermediary as you can not trade directly with the CBN, hence, you will open a savings or any account in Naira with a commercial bank.

You'll apply for Form A through the CBN Trade Monitoring System.

Documents to attach are admission letter, School bill (Flywire receipt etc), highest degree (HND, BSc etc) and passport bio-data page.

After applying, the CBN will debit your Naira account and help you pay to the stated foreign bank account.

That's all.

Omo this country and incompetency, got my offer letter withdrawn from Fanshawe as I couldn't meet up with the deposit deadline. I was initially using GT bank but switched to UBA after several assurances from the bank that they would make it in time only after opening account and funding it for Form A, they are saying nonsense like it's in the hand of CBN bla bla, it has not even crossed ADB reviewer stage. Anyway sha na to go close my account. GT bank even to cancel application still no response and yet the useless government will say they don't understand why people are desperate to leave the country where nothing ever works

More than blaming Nigeria, do you know what you could have done differently that you didn’t do? Or ask for advise? You would have emailed your school with a proof that the process is already on going and they would extend the deadline for you. That’s what others do. And for that Form A... it’s preferable to use banks that are not too big like Union bank... they work faster

You are correct to some extent. If it's Fanshawe College, they don't want to hear stories. They believe the 30 day period is enough to do whatever you want to do.

The school works with agents eg applyboard so it's not a direct communication channel, I already told them to apply for extension and they said they reached out to the school but I didn't get a further response till the deadline elapsed

Hello Toceen2022

Send mail to iomlagosclinicalteam@iom.int.
They will give you feedback on your medical result.

Reach out to Applyboard again. Fanshawe also withdraw my ward’s offer in 30days but then i wrote to applyboard telling them about country logistics and they wrote to Fanshawe, who responded that if we make payments they will reinstate the offer if there was still space in the course.

All the best

I was at IOM, IKEJA, LAGOS today for my upfront. my appointment was for 9am, I got there 9:04am and started off immediately 9:04am - 2pm, I was done and out of the place. Please bear in mind that the whole processing depends on availability of people already in line but all in all Canada medicals is not as bad as UK and some other countries. You might even finish in 2-3hours if you get there early enough, but please eat before going or get something to snack on, cause as I no listen, hunger wire me well well. I hope this helps.

Good afternoon, Please someone should help me with this
Pls while applying for study visa in the New portal, there is a point where it is requesting for cost of tuition , room and board expenses. Do you need to add all years of study?

Also, under available fund, does one need to stick to their POF or claim to have all expens for the course duration ? I have paid my first semester tuition, do I need to add it to my POF when filling that part?

Good morning all,

Please for students resuming in 2022 who have travelled recently, were you required to present your enrollment letter? Is it still a travel requirement?

@makano @osemigho @showyoung and all other gurus in the house, kindly assist to look into this and confirm.
