Hello guys .

Please quick one.
I want to pay tuition and I have 5k USD(in US) , should I send it and change it to naira via black market rate at 595 2,975,000 and request for form A to pay to the school. At CBN rate 323 , I’ll be able to pay up to $8,000CAD in tuition with this money.

Or I should just ask the sender to pay directly to the school from US which would be 6,000 CAD .

The school dint give a deadline but I want to submit my application by next week.

I can upload it via webform .

But with the whole form A wahala , what if it doesn’t work ?
I don’t want to be stuck halfway and have to use fly wire at the end of the day thereby paying ridiculous rate .

Pls what do you guys advice .

Hello Uzoamaka,

The bolded is a wise idea, don't waste your dollar by paying tuition using your dollar when you can make use of CBN form A at a cheaper rate. You have already done the maths to know the difference. So go with your plan.

No! It only meant that your medical report has been submitted to IRCC. You should expect to see your profile change to either "Medical Passed" or "We are reviewing your medical exam"

After reviewing the medical report, IRCC can then recommend that you pass the medical exam. Qlife can't recommend whether or not you pass.

If you have any medical issue that needs immediate resolution, IRCC will request for additional medical

Thank you very much , I applied through maple education so I don’t have access to my application. Only the mail I got from Qlife.

You don't have to worry about it. They'll call you if they require additional medical examination.

I went to access bank for MBS. I was only given a ticket ID and a password. No print out.
Is this OK?
How do I now upload it? Type it on Ms word, convert to PDF and upload?

Hello Ayo,

As regards the bolded, is funny though but then, is up to you, you start when you want to start. But then again, you have to be specific with your question so that you get a specific answer.

Application for January 2023 intake is well ongoing and few May 2023 have started as well.

For Fall 2023 if thesis based, this is time to start to reach out to potential supervisors.

For January 2024 and above, not yet started.

Hello Nitand2,

I want to ask you a simple question and I want you to be truthful. Did you use a fraudulent(doctored/forged) account statement?

Cos if you did, then there is nothing that can be done. And it won't be refusal unless the VO wants to be lenient. what you got is a procedural fairness letter (PFL) which precedes a ban for misrepresentation.

Is there a reason they couldn’t print it?

What is usually on the printed copy also contains the name of Account Holder, and destination embassy and a “delivered” sign on it.

Maybe others have used this method of typing n changing to PDF.

Let other weigh in for you. Because the ability to access your POF documents (SOA) by VO is critical.

Hello.

Ok if you're sure of the SOA you submitted and as you're already on your way to bank, get an MBS( if possible get a dully signed and stamped statement). Attach both the MBS and SOA with a well detailed explanatory LOE explaining that the document(SOA) submitted was and is genuine.

Please don't panic and don't be in too hurry. If you panic, you may end up making mistake and end up uploading wrong document.

Wish you all the best Nitand2.

You must wait for admission because you need the admission letter to apply: while waiting for admission, you may begin getting your documents ready and start working on your POF

Please guys I need an urgent help on what to do now pleeeeeesssse!
It was an agent that did my application before I came across Nairaland … was a bit relieved yesterday when I noticed eligibility has started on my application
But please to my greatest surprise now I got a message from Ircc now stating I use a fraudulent account statement that I should attend to this within 15 days or else I get refusal

Please gurus in the house I need ur urgent help on this please for God sake

You have been advised on the way to go. I just have a question. Are you sure your agent submitted your genuine bank statement? Agents of darkness in Nigeria are notorious for submitting wrong or fake documents even when they don't have permission to do that. You may want to question your agent and ask to see all the document submitted on your behalf.

How come your CBN rate is 323?

I went to pay my tuition fees with Form A, which I had already filled and I went to the GT Bank, they told me the rate 575?

You can't say more than you know.

Some colleges still offered admission for Fall 2022 this month. As a word of probability, perhaps they stopped yesterday or are stopping today, I put "if it's not late".

You don't necessarily have to wait till October to get admission for Fall next year in some colleges. Perhaps you are referring to colleges and universities that offer admission once per year. I took into consideration those that offer admission on rolling basis.

Hello,

As at yesterday, USD$ is 415 and CAD$ is 332 at StanbicIBTC which I used for someone. So it can't be 575 for form A
