So true, you must always strive to upgrade yourself mostly through education in a standard organisation. If you have the job and lack certain displine as little as punctuality, etc you may lose the Job sooner or later, so both of you are very correct. Grace may not be able to help you if you're not prepared for an opportunity via skill or educational qualification. Also grace is what helps alot of us to get juicy jobs after getting such qualification.

no, your post is totally understandable, I was simply pointing out that every single decision and every single thing led you or whomever is successful to where they are today, attributing it all to God’s mercy or luck alone is simply thrash.
