Good morning everyone,

Please I have some questions. I was denied an F1 visa this month. And I intend to re-apply. But each time dates are out, it never displays on my CGI platform. Please find attached.

Please why does this happen?
And what do I do?
Also, when am I most likely able to get a date when released?

Go to the interview with a copy of your most recent passport. I filled the form with a passport from 4 years ago but snapped a new one few days to my interview which I took along with me.

Please, when will dates be available for the f1 visa interview, or should I choose any available date and book for an emergency interview, since I’m in Abuja, what are the cons of this if I decide to do the later?

There is an earliest resumption date on your I-20 which is one month before your program start date, you can only enter the US from that earliest resumption date.

Any attempt to enter before then, my brother you and the CBP go dey solve the rest.

the reason to give for previous should be it was due to non proper documentation

Optima hotel just 15 minutes walk to the embassy. The least room is 8k per night

1). I20,
2). Passport,
3). DS160 confirmation page,
4). Visa appointment slip,
5). GT Bank Visa Fee receipt,
6). Bank Statement of Account,...
7). funding letter,
cool. Admissions letter.
9). Test scores
10). Transcript.
11). Marriage Certificate.
12). NYSC Certificate

The top 7 are most important.

Hot 21 FAQs for F1 Interview.

0). You've been here before, What has changed?
1). Why are you going to the US?
2). How did you come about this school?
3). Why this school?
4). How many schools did you apply to?
5). When did you graduate?
6). What have you been doing?
7). What will this degree do for you?
cool. Why this Program/Course?
9). What is your study plan?
10). Why the US and not Nigeria?
11). What is Your Plan after Studies?
12). Why should I give you this Visa?
13). Did you take any Standardized test?
14). Who's Sponsoring you?
15). What does he/she do?
16) Why will he/she Sponsor you?
17). Have you travelled before?
18). Are you Married?
19). Do you have any children?
20). Have you made travel plans?

Your questions will almost always revolve around these. Some questions are peculiar to certain type of applicants. If it's your first time, you'd not be asked the first question on the list.

Be very attentive as questions might be worded differently by the VO but still convey same meaning as those above.

There's a structure to answer all these. Answers to these questions should contain some key ingredients that will score you high during the interview. Unfortunately, I can't drop them now. However, if you read loads of approved transcripts, you should get the Idea.

I graduated with a 3.13/5 in Computer Science from a federal university.

Do I stand a chance of gaining admission to a Master's program in Computer Science?
And hopefully with partial or full funding.
I plan on writing GRE.

I will appreciate your response.
