While I understand the skepticism with today's churches. If you dump a set of rules you will subscribe to another.

So ask yourselves, if I dump religion what is the higher purpose?

Dumping religion means you've accepted your true state , a godless state and have taken a scientific stance of being an animal.

If you are an animal , then there are no rules, without rules, chaos ensues.

Religion is the bedrock for all morality and the basis of law. You shouldn't kill in the Bible for example, and by law killing also has consequences.

I think religion is just for guidance and it's ability to restrict you when no one is looking. When people dump guidance what then do they follow?

I once left Catholic for about 10 years to RCCG, then later to MFM.
But I got bored with those.G.Os and their lifestyles that are similar to politicians'


For instance, I was pissed off the day I saw Pastor Olukoya with about 6 mobile policemen as escorts.
There's nothing spiritual about those General Overseers and the pastors under them.

They are just using their followers to build financial empires
I can never attend a church set up by an individual, especially a Nigerian again.
Their main target is money making.

I have gone back to Catholic Church. It is not perfect, but far better than pentecostal organisations, where the G.O is the CEO, and his wife is Mama G.O

But one thing is, teenagers this days are either under their parents or they are in the universities or higher learning institution

In my University days, a 16 year student was admitted and I believe things should be different now, kids of 15 should be in the universities or doing predegree

Also, catholic church, I don't know, I don't really consider Catholic to be a church as far as I'm concerned. Though they may believe what other Christians believe, but I never read a place in the bible where Christians are to honour Mary as done today
