Punish by who? These APLs are secured by politicians and they usually ask their PAs or media handler to post them for political gain.

I get but look here an agency didn't advertise for vacancy and they are issuing apl's publicly.

Replacement APLs are usually backdated. This APL was collected last week.

OK, now I get it right. Some agencies said that their APL are ready since Feb/March but till now it has not dispatched.

I think is only recruitment they advertise.

Good Evening guys. Is it wise dropping a lecturing job at a Nigerian uni for a cbn job with a secondary school cert where there is room for growth and development after furthering your studies. But u’ll have to go through a fresh degree for an upgrade.

There seems to be career progression there, I know of someone that got into CBN with SSCE and he rose to the rank of Director. Though he acquired his degree certificate and different professional certifications while in service.

someone wanted to help me this way though. The thing is going enroute B.sc/HND is always challenging so the person said I would have to get in with my SSCE certificate you’d work as a clerk or something. Then when someone resigns or time for replacement they would replace your name with outgoing retirees . Heard this from multiple sources and I have seen people get in that way

Things before are different from now. Seems like the journey was easier before compare to now.

I was asked to if i would accept a junior cadre with my SSCE. I politely declined. If i had NCE or ND, i would had accepted it. But SSCE, NOPE.

CLERK, MESSENGER, JUNIOR NOTE COUNTERS

once you go in with your SSCE, you have automatically forfeited your Degree cert. You have to further while in service. The cert you obtained while in service will be the one you present during promotion exams or something.

I really don't think it's worth it honestly, assuming u don't have a job already then yes, cause u can always go for something better while managing or even get another degree from a private uni for d upgrade...But as a uni lecturer, just do ur PhD, and know ur stuff, u can always getting at experience hire
