Samunique: One person I most blame for the emergence of Buhari is Tinubu, and I don’t trust him that much again because of his role in leading us along this path of poor leadership. Why? This same Tinubu who his fans/people etc claim is BRILLIANT, sent CIA a note before 2011 on why he would not support this same Buhari. He said Buhari is sectional, fanatical and such and would destroy Nigeria, all of which are happening now. Fast forward 2014 he saw a dark opportunity (there were also some religious undertones in toppling Jonathan) and supported a destroyer against his better judgment, just so he could ascend the presidency. He even clamored for a Muslim-Muslim ticket, but Buhari stood against it. There is no problem with a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a healthy Nigeria, after all these same Nigerians stood overwhelmingly behind MKO/Kingibe. But the times had changed by as early as 2011 and religious sensitivities were getting to their peak, thus any person who touted their nationalistic persuasions should have known by then that neither a Christian-Christian nor a Muslim-Muslim ticket would help. That only displayed the extent of his personal ambition. So enough of all these “I will carry everybody along trope”, it’s just tokenism. It’s likely that with Tinubu running Nigeria things may improve, howbeit marginally, but I believe that his antecedents exclude him in MY OWN opinion. He has no strong moral claim to the throne. Make no mistake, Tinubu without Buhari would at best be a regional political lord. He used the devil to amplify his influence. He has kept quiet with regards to the sorry state of the union/nation over the past few years. He has compromised so much, he is bent out of shape. I wish him well, but I also realize that he staked the future of Nigeria for his lifelong ambition, and so I won’t be surprised if “Nigeria” happens to him as well. PS: Don’t forget that in 2011 this same Tinubu chose to cut a deal with Jonathan instead of Buhari and benefitted massively financially. Maybe na the money he dey use now. 3 Likes |

If PMB want to do justice,if he can't pick Tinubu as consensus candidate because he worth it to be automatic ticket for him yes, else he should allow them to go to field, once party need the most popular aspirant. |

Majority of this political aspirants are EFCC fugitives seeking for immunity by clinging to a political office. So people should not be deceived cos they are not running politics for public interest but to their own selfish end. |

Truthisunique2:How did he sell out the south ? Pls go and ask those who know Nigerian politics, they will tell u that it's Gej who betrayed himself by not sticking to the agreement of contesting only 2011 election, after completing Yaradua first tenor. That's his downfall. Now, is not an hypocrisy, if you blame Tinubu and leave Amaechi behind ? Was he not part of those who sponsored Buhari ? Why do you people always leave him out and put the blame on Tinubu ? Is Amaechi no more a southerner ? A S Southerner for that matter ? I think you people just hate Tinubu for nothing !!! 1 Like |

TheNiceGuy: nairavsdollars:She has your answer. Nothing is certain about Nigeria politics not when the state has your time. The reality is that Nigeria can only get worse seeing from 1999 till date. This is simply because there is no structure to ensure a progressive state. Unfortunately, no politician will or can change the current system that favours them. it's the people that will rise up collectively to demand restructuring & accountability before this country can even have hope. |

Tinubu will ultimately loose because of religion! To start with tinubu should have seen the writing on the wall because he would have got power on a platter if he were a christian. If he,and i guess is looking at mko abiola then he never knew why mko was killed. Muslim muslim ticket ends in death! buhari has choosen the next apc candidate. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Samunique: Tinubu will triumph no matter what the evil cabal plans. If Buhari follows the treachery and becomes a grave betrayer,he loses here and "there".These people have never planned anything good for Nigeria before except hold on to power they do not know how to use or foist any mumu that will thread their "keep Nigeria sinking path" on us. We need growth and development in Nigeria now. Tinubu has the midas touch. It is a natural gift from God. Nigeria needs Tinubu at this dire moment. God always triumphs. 1 Like |

Samunique:you see how you have already failed before starting, the issue of gej doing one term or not is a pdp affair, and PDP later resolved the issue and he was given ticket It's not apc business, the way yorubas are calling for southern unity now and everyone in south is complying was what we expected of tilumbu and his tribe in 2015 Okay fine you claimed gej was incompetent who did you now bring from the south to replace him? It was all about the surest cowardice greedy way to get to power for tilumbu Amaechi is a small boy in politics, he was still in his 40's when all this was happening, I can't compare him to the experience of tinubu since abiola days Like a child he acted on his impulse because mama peace talked to him anyhow, but tinubu acted on greed to get power They falsely complained of marginalization, gej asked PDP to secede reps to them, they still worked against their own Yoruba Muslim woman so that the "marginalization" card can really stick for their selfish end Since buhari have broken all incompetence records when have tilumbu ever spoken on the same excuse he used to fight gej |

gaskiyamagana: If he's backing Osinbanjo, it's understandable . He go only vexx BAT, he LL relax and persuaded to support his Political son. But if he's not backing BAT, and still not Osinbanjo and probably backing Amaechi. Then that is where the trouble will come. I doubt if SW will forever erase it in their mind. Cox some SW were skeptical abt BAT supporting fulani man like PMb, warning him of possible future betrayal, the whole Yoruba race will not only yarb Tinubu but ll then hoard the grievance against any northerners if not for life. The Trust is gone. 1 Like |
