Russia is obviously fighting NATO and the whole of Europe. You must be an idiot to deny that. Ukraine can not stand a day fighting Russia. NATO soldiers are on ground in Ukraine, 30 NATO members are coordinating attacks and providing intelligence, logistics and war equipment and billions of dollars of funding. Tens of European countries, some Asian and other countries in other continents are also actively engaged against Russia, but guess what? 2) Finland is now posed to join this same NATO that want to kill Russia and they are closer to St. Petersburg than anywhere in Ukraine.

3) Ukraine applied to join NATO in 2008, NATO that want to kill Russia rejected the offer because of Russia that they want to kill.
Verdict: Russia didn't do anything.

Then in 2021, Ukraine only adopted a resolution in parliament to seek EU and NATO membership, they haven't applied, there is no guarantee how long that will take or if they will be accepted as they were still fighting internal war in the Donbas and Crimea was annexed. Red flag that such application may not come to fruition yet Russia decide to invade a sovereign state whose territory rights and integrity is guarantee under UN charty. the same Charty that Russia are signatory to.
