A tanker loaded with diesel fell inside gutter and went up in flames this morning, May 24 in Enugu state. Salemgists gathered that the incident happened at the popular Odumodu Junction, Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area of the state. A source within the area stated that the unfortunate incident occured near a gas station along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway. He said the diesel which was running out of the truck flowed along through the gutter, burning everything on its way. As at the time of filling this report, men of Anambra State Fire Service were also on ground to quench the fire, with passersby who trouped out in their numbers. Although number of casualties recorded from the fire incident is yet-to-be ascertained.
