ananne: It will be difficult to find admission for Sept 2022 by now, but Winter (Jan) 2023 is open now. A graduate of Economics can go for Master's degree or PGD (depending on the circumstances) in Business Analytics, Predictive Analysis, Economics, Public Policy, Business Management, etc |

TOSM: Have you gained admission in a college or university in Canada already? Study Visa application is done after an admission has been offered. All you need do is get your documents ready and proof of funds. Documents like bank account statement, passport, birth certificate, proof of home tie, proof of sponsor etc. You can refer to part 1 of this thread to read more on applying for visa application. |

ShowYoung: Thanks for your response, Khazirat. Yes, i got a conditional admission and i must pay before i can get the full admission. My problem is the tuition fee is not refundable. Secondly, my sister is the one funding, but someone told me it's not possible because she is also a student. What do you think i should do? If my sibling can finance me, should her status as student be a problem? |

Good evening family and friends. I was having and argument with someone this evening. He said VO go as far as checking one credit bureau score. Especially if one loan has gone pass due date of repayment. That is why most refusal are based on fund. Especially this small loan people that entered Nigeria has spoiled alot with emails, calls and text messages. How true is this? Biko has anyone gotten visa while his Loan has passed due repayment date? |

Folasadekas: Prior to enrolling in a course, you should check the tuition fee. You probably didn't check. There are cheaper 1 Year PGD/PGC in Business programs ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 compared to the one you are going for which costs a whopping $27,000 and it's two years. If you stick to 1 Year PGD/PGC program, perhaps your #7 million would be enough; even if it will be more, it won't be more than 8 million to 8.5million. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 5:29pm On May 24, 2022 |
TOSM: If it's true that the $9,000 is not refundable as you have claimed, I will advise you avoid this school totally except you can afford to sacrifice $9000. Visa denial or delay can make you lose it. You don't have control over it. Look for another admission in a school that is not as hostile as this. Schools that don't usually refund tuition deposit don't request more than just $500 as tuition deposit. 1 Like |

I’m so tired of waiting. I waited a month for my medical request. I waited 2 months for a sputum test and another 2 months for my post X-ray and report submission. IRCC confirmed receipt of my medicals since Feb 18 and according to my GCMS notes, my case has been “ready for assessment” since Feb 22. Eligibility, criminality and everything passed since last year yet no news. Another 2 months of silence making it 7 in total. The wait is much too long. |

Ifyogunjobi: I did Upfront Medicals with my son yesterday at IOM and "worker" was also listed on his medical sheet. The lady that attended to me became rude as I was worried that the tag was wrong, because my son will be on Visit Visa. Her male colleague assured me that the "worker" tag on the sheet was the right thing...and that the only tag for anyone accompanying someone on a Student visa was the "Worker tag." I said even for a 5 year old? He said yes. Since, it's their job, I just have to believe them. Hoping for the best! 1 Like |
