that's the worst let me send you screen shot, some Nigerian used sells above 2.5 self grin example the pics below is Nigerian used,I think the problem is most folks can't tell the difference between clean Nigerian used and toks.. I still stand my ground you CAN'T get toks for 2.4 mind you ever you see a toks standard its a Nigerian used Sir grin

I don't know why common sense is so difficult these days.

The fees you have to pay to bring that car into Nigeria is over 2m without adding the cost of the car

If any sells at 2.4m, duty was not paid. Its as simple as that

You couldn’t maintain the ES350 and you want to port to a Mercedes. You’re definitely on a long thing

I think what he's saying is if you could not solve the issues the ES350 was giving you for whatsoever reasons, what do you think will happen when the C300 starts giving you issues.

The issue was that it was always getting spoilt like I was always going to mechanic so it's annoying not that the money is not there but it was wasting my time always going to mechanic like every two days

seems you don't even understand what we talking about all this while, bros if you say you got your car for 10 naira I won't doubt that so long it's Nigerian used, you can get it at any amount, but always try to understand what we are discussing, which is tokunbo, which I said you can't get it at 2.4M, how much do you think is the cost of clearance and duty alone for that car? grin ,always try to understand before making a contribution.

You could probably get a ZDX at the upper range of that budget.

Or a W164.
Or a 2010-ish Highlander?

I want to get a durable car, within the range of 1.3-1.7. It’s my first car, what car should I go for? And is there any good vendor that sells online?

I believe you budget can only get you nigerian used. Maybe:
Toyota camry 03 - 06, Honda Accord 08, Honda Civic 08, Toyota Matrix 04 - 06 or small yansh.
If going for the camry, you have to be very careful because the engine (2az) get as e be from factory.

Actually a great question. I think it'd mostly come down to personal preference.

Materials in the ES are better, stereo is better, ride quality is better, insulation and refinement are better.

Accord is newer, cabin tech is better, powertrain is better, design is better, driving dynamics are better.

I would personally go for the Accord. The 2016 would be a no-brainer, but the 2015 is very close.

Is the timing belt / chain difference worth considering?
