peeps4u: They can open the eyes of the FG to it mind you indriver is everywhere just that not everywhere you would see a driver or Rider. Just change location and see how indriver informs you that you've changed location, once you accept by clicking yes, you can go online right away 1 Like |

Did you know? Since 2019-2022 E-hailing price(s) as only being increased by 55 naira. Yes 55 naira oh Pure water as at then was 65naira per bag now is 220-250 naira. Danfo oworo to obalende 100 then 300-500 now Rice 20k - 30-35k now Tyre rim 15 tokumbo 4K - 12-14k now with Abeg To fix tyre was 300-500 but now is 800-1500k with Abeg. Hub Corolla regular Coro for Uber used to be 8-10k max but now 25k for one side 50k for both side to even see original nko na another Israelite journey. Tokumbo Coro was 1.650-1.9m now is 3.2-3.5M. Alternative car for e-hailing Hyundai Elantra 2009 used to be 1.3-1.5m it’s sold for 2.7-3m now same goes to civic. I don’t need to even touch engine oil and food stuffs. That’s something else. Did you know? If you give your wife 100k today or you carry 100k go market today, you wouldn’t even understand how the money take go off with few things you buy in market. Why? inflation coursed it. Everything you buy in Nigeria for 100naira 3-4years ago is now 450naira and above that’s over 300% increments. E-hailing prices (luxury) as remain stagnant. So why all these analysis? ——- is for you as a driver/partner/car owner to guide your car very well. Don’t accept any worthless trip all in the name of keeping driver score or bull-sh….t. Protect your car as a new born baby. Because in next few months prices of cars and spare parts will increase if not triple it’ll be doubled. And you know one silly thing about naija Nothing goes up in prices ever comes down again. Have a second plan :- be it japa, another business, or try and save to source for any African country you can easily migrate and create a little business not everybody will make it to Canada. Try and check for online programs:- check for Coursera, udemy etc they’ve got google certified courses in which you could do for 3-6months and land your remote dream job. Make research for some country whereby you can start a little spare part, selling of clothes, creative makeup artist, hair dresser businesses etc…. You can easily check Rwanda, Botswana, Ivory Coast etc… I didn’t say you should go now this is just a clue make a research yourself don’t give any agent a dime google and YouTube can help you out. Don’t over stress your car for now. The day your car break down and you’re looking for money to buy engine or gear is the day you’ll know that life is hard. E-hailing can never and will never give you that millions-billions you’re looking for they’re just designed to kill your cars and you yourself. Yes it’s a luxury that supposed to come with prices of luxury. But you know what? Greediness of Nigerians/African/competitions kill it. You can have 10years experience in driving e-hailing but the truth is that e-hailing can’t increase your knowledge and career experiences. Rather, it’ll reduce you to zero levels. Think and think today. There’s no age limit in starting new things. I thank God for how early I started and I appreciate God how my life is turning around. But don’t forget one thing, I’m not discouraging you for driving Uber/bolt because I’m a bolt driver too and I'll never do that. But I’m trying to let you understand that you should use e-hailing savings as a stepping stone for your future greatness. You can see heavy dashboard and mere looking at the driver that earns that million on app alone will make you sick. Driver facial will Looks over stress, scary and un-happy. Unfortunately all the money he makes will somehow find itself back to mechanic and car part dealers in few week/months. How can you make 800k e-money and have 50k physical cash (I’m been sarcastic here but you know the truth). I’m not blaming anybody but you as a driver be it rental or hire purchase, try and make sure you work smart and have a good saving culture. Don’t give up apply for your passport now because it’ll be more stressful as time goes on. Apply for that course today. That money/time to apply tommorow might not come Tommrow. Try that business today your destiny helper might come from the business and you’re just dragging e-hailing thinking you’ll meet them there. Thanks everyone and remember to give credits as you share my post. Is your Guy Ghost1994 nairaland Saintrow on FB God will continue to be with us. 27 Likes 2 Shares |

GeneralZodd: Be blaming the dealers you hear. When they are clearing some of those venzas for 2.8-3m. Do you know Toyota Venza is one of the most expensive cars to buy in auction? Even more expensive than a lexus of the same year You don't believe me? Go to en.bidfax.info and check how much they are sold. You can compare the prices with Camry and Lexus of the same year. I have attached some of the prices for you. Na who don chop belle full dey buy Venza especially if its toks 5 Likes 1 Share

2019 when I started Uber, dollar was #320. 2022 dollar is nor 610. 2019 drivers make an average of 10k after commission and fuel. 2022 drivers make an average of 10k after commission and fuel. 10k in 2019 is about 31_dollars. 10k in 2022 is about 16_dollars. 2019 corrola was around 1. 5m 2022 corrola is around 3m. From all these, you can see the inflation is over 100%, while drivers earning has 0% increase. If you like, keep listening to Pearl1910 and see Uber as your lifetime career, as your dream Job. Keep moving Lagos up and down as if your destiny is embedded in it, without having an exit plan. Your eye go clear one day. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Ghost1994: Good analysis on the price issue. U should send a mail to Bolt and Uber and analyse it this way, let them also reason it. I don't hesitate to send mails to them and trust me it works. Even Felicity will attest to the fact that they somehow eventually respond to demands sent to them. My consolation is that ehailing profits can help you japa. Because every body knows it's d rich and middle class in Nigeria that can afford to japa. Well done Sir 6 Likes |

Ghost1994: I told them when they were posting dashboard that year they did not agree uber/bolt will never increase prices, rather they will bring it down to compete with each other. Eventually iit will be cheaper than danfo and al these cars will die from inadequate maintenance/repair...shebi we see how drivers must beg here anytime they have car trouble. 2 Likes |

kanuisagoat: The pictures of venza you posted here, prices are still reasonable, like 3.5 million converted to naira. I think clearing is the issue. Though I was told that prices of cars in America has gone up. |

donfortune48: With regard to what Ghost1994... Presently we are sitting on gun powder and amost times I ask myself how do people survive. Bread used to be 250 naira, today it is 500 naira, but asking ehailing to increase their money won't do any driver good. Maybe a little twisting would be better. On ehailing you can make at least 100k weekly, that's 400k in a month. Give and take repairs, commission based on indriver, gas takes 160k and the rest 240k goes to driver as owner driver. The question now is are you OK with 240k as income monthly? How many salary earner take 240k home as of the country we are today? Put in mind they have transportation and clothing to deal with since drivers are known to dress anyhow. Some top level boss takes BTW 500k to 1million, but let's just bring it down to survival level. This month alone I have given out 300k as loan to ndi career people, meaning no where is actually easy. To survive in these country, one needs to activate all his antennas, just keep using madness to port it. Here is the theory of life in a nutshell: - The Parkinson's Law says that your expenditures rise to meet your income. When you earn more money, your needs become more and you may end up spending more money. So, in order to make wealth, you need to break the Parkinson's law by setting limits. Have you ever save money to buy bicycle? And you realise the more you save, the increase in price?and the money never get to complete. That's the problem with Corolla of today. I call it the moving money box and the problem starts from new driver that are yet to understand the reality of ehailing, even one of us push for Innoson to partner with them the other day. Investing 3m to buy a car for ehailing may take 2 years or more to get the money back before talking of profit. And most time the profit is selling the car off, waste of time and energy at the end of everything. The car I am using today was bought for 800k and that is what I have been using, I have over used it that the tot of getting another one is already building in my head, in-between exit kept ringing as well. I said to myself, spend 200k bake and fix seems better then using 1.5m to go buy another one. Not all rider cares about your car, it is not as if I have bad rating at such. 4.8 even since means it is good to go. Take a look at someone in abroad making honest living, sometimes it takes them 10 or more years to raise 20 million. Do you think if you do ehailing for 10years, you can't save between 10 to 15 million? Question for the mind tho 1 Like |

GeneralZodd: Real up boss... if you know how scare Corolla is over there now. I don't know if it is the Nigeria factor. I have a car I want to sell, I have to pend the sales. With the fourth coming election, dollars is going to be on the high side because that is what our politicians use to push election. Won't lie, sometimes living this country is the best, but a man told me something. Stay where the Chinese people stays, you can never find a Chinese man in a country where there's no money. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
