Silent reader here.

So I'm a first time traveller to the Schengen area but a frequent traveller to other places eg UK, US, etc.

Timeline: Went for biometrics on 17 May
Visa Issued 20 May
Picked up today 24 May

Submitted:
Bank Statements
Letter from employer
Personal letter of introduction
Pension statement
Share statement
Employment and confirmation letters
Office Id
Insurance
Accommodation and flight bookings
Travel itinerary

With a single entry visa I can still visit multiple Schengen countries but can't leave and re-enter with the same visa abi?

Congrats

Hi all,

I have a question. I was trying to book an online appointment for my mother at VFS lagos but it seems they don't have any spot for " short stay/family visits first time traveller" but since she has been abroad three times already in the past I decided to book "short stay frequent traveller" I hope this won't be a problem? she has never been to the EU/Schengen and its her first time and I really need her here next month to take care of my baby. I am also having issue with flutterwave they won't accept my credit card ;

If she has Uk , Us & Canada visa , she qualifies for it

Was this for short stay visa?

Hello,

Please I need urgent help. My scheduled date of travel on the France Visa application form is 12th June, 2022 and I’m on the VFS portal for appointment booking and the earliest date for appointment is 9th June.

Obviously my visa wouldn’t be approved before my departure date. Would that have an effect on the decision?

Do I have to start a new application?

Invitation letter and attestation from Local government
France hardly give visa based on individual invitation and I will advise you to just apply as tourist using hotel booking and package your application well when you get to france you will still be with the person .

Viator would require that I put my card and they’ll charge. Won’t they?

Please guys, what is more important in a statement of account, balance or cash flow? The statement has a cash flow of about N45,000,000 and a balance of 600k as at this morning. I want to use it for a tourist visa.

Both are important, that balance isn't enough, you need to have enough for your ticket , accomodation , shopping and local transport and a lot more as you are not expected to finish all you have on a vacation.

Not necessarily true about the balance. People have gotten UK visas with similar account balance.

OP circumstances plays a big role. Someone that earns for example 450k or thereabouts with a 600k account balance would possibly get a tourist visa, other factors being constant.

Perhaps OP can give more details about their circumstances if they want to.

That said, I find it interesting when people ask these questions. It's like solving maths from the answer to the question. You want to make a trip, then you should be able to realistically know how much money you need for that trip. No one can determine that for you. Based on that estimate you will be able to know how much will be enough.
