What assurance are you talking about?

Obi of 2019 is different from Obi of 2022, who knows Obi in 2019? But I can tell you that 50% of the youth are root for him, now the challenge will be how many of them have PVC. But the good news is that Obi is now a reference point in Nigeria political system

You are not making sense

Was Wike interested in VP OF PDP IN 2019 ? No he was interested in getting re-elected. Now his eye is in national politics. He has the money to bargain, his region can give more votes to Atiku if he is selected as VP. South east IPOB and voter apathy is discouraging Atiku from giving Obi VP. Many factors come into place.

You can be naive all you want.

When wise people were telling Igbo people to dump PDP you people refused. Umahi had sense and saw it coming .

1999 till now 23 years of servitude no Presidency or VP

Peter Obi or not, the delegates will determine who will be the presidential candidate from each party while we are only left to feast on the bones called 'election' after their will has been done.

They will still lose woefully. presidential election is more of structures rather than only candidate.

Where will they get the structure?

Most likely they will loose but the biggest looser will be PDP. For their party to be strong then they should give tickets to popular and aggreived PDP politicians.

Oga you are more naive than him, Obi have seen it all, he has toured the 36 state and what he saw was unbelievable. So you can't be outside at the time telling someone inside that room it fine

I am talking about general election.

How do you convince people in the remote part of Oyo to vote NNPP? What structure does NNPP have in those areas to inform voters and what incentive is there to push them to thumb-print?

Most of those voters that vote usually do that for parties. Because they have people right there in that locality holding sway since God knows when. So beside the notoriety of candidate in the city/social media, they need that party to be recognized in rural areas. NNPP don't have that.

That is exactly why error votes from party with name identical with PDP/APC are more than the combined vote of the third force parties in the last election.
What structure did APC had in 2015.
E be like say kwankwaso na small shoe for your eye...

Having seen the resignation letter of Peter Obi from PDP which confirmed his exit from the party and withdrawal from the party’s presidential race, I’m tempted to question the rationale behind that decision.

I’m an ardent supporter of Peter Obi but I think that if he has truly resigned from the PDP, then he has goofed; it’s a complete faux pax for him.

Because I do not see any other platform that can possibly grant him victory in the general election.

Remaining in PDP would have guaranteed either the presidential ticket or vice presidential ticket which would have brought him closer to the presidency.

As we wait to confirm if this is fake or true, and to know Obi’s next move, I make bold to say that this decision, if confirmed, was a miscalculation.

Peter obi just shot himself in the foot....... anyway, wetin concern me. Na Tinubu or Osinbajo I dey vote for

He is probably going to NNPP.

What I now don't know is who will be the VP or Presidential candidate between him and Kwakwanso.

If Kwakwanso will be the Presidential candidate & Obi VP; Then Obi is a big fool because he would have had more chance with being VP to Atiku in PDP.

If Obi will be the presidential candidate and Kwakwanso the VP; Then I like that even tho they will still lose the election. But at least he made a statement.

Only that the Kwakwanso I know will not be VP to Obi Pandora.

They won't loose the election if you and i vote for him

No you are not correct. Peter Obi and Kwakwanso are political lightweights and they have no structure to win a national election.

Do you know why APC defeated PDP in 2015? It is because Buhari and Tinubu that forged alliance have their structures automatically transported to the new party.

—Tinubu suddenly came with almost 6 governors to the new party and a zone with the second most highest voter turnout.

—Buhari comes with his ANPP and constant 10million voters who cut across all core Northern states. The region with the highest voter turnout.

As it stands today, both Kwakwanso and Peter Obi don’t have any state they control. They don’t have governors they can influence who are moneybags and structure bags.

Don’t tell me about social media followers, I am taking about real election and structure.
My battery is weak else I will school you on the possibilities staring all of us in the face.

If the electoral act had permitted, independent candidature, you would have told me that the phenomenon of independent candidates winning elections is alien.

Nigeria of today is a polarized society... anything is possible.

People should try to comment with a bit of intelligence. Peter Obi candidacy was always a long shot, PDP overcoming APC (whoever the candidate may have been) was always going to be an uphill task. What he has done if he intends to contest on another platform is to split PDP votes, peter Obi is very popular (whether he ever had enough votes to win even in PDP is debatable but what is certain now is that he will take away votes from people who would have voted PDP but will not have enough votes in another party to win. Common sense should tell anyone that!!! The net result will be his paew party wont get enough votes and PDP will have less votes thus aiding an APC victory....unless they themselves self implode

The most stupid thing he could ever have done but then, he has a record of jumping from one party to another. I have personally not bought into the whole Peter Obi narrative and rhetoric. Ask his fans to tell you what exactly his legacy in Anambra is and they cant point to anything besides the education ranking went up during his tenure. What exactly is his signature infrastructure project, nobody can answer, they talk about prudence but is it not the money he supposedly saved that Obiana has now chopped, would Anambrans have been better off if he left the state in debt but left behind infrastructure he can pint to? I keep telling people all this talk of "i saved money", to what end? nobody elected you to save they elected you to spend wisely on infrastructure. A man who thinks it is a thing to be proud of that his 30 yr old son doesnt have a car, abeg if the 30yr old son of a billionaire has not been raised well enough to buy his own car you have failed as a father!! All we ever hear from him is "I have 2 shoes", "in japan", in morocco, in china etc etc...when you were in govt what did you do....nothing!!! Under himthe IGR of Anambra went down!!!

if you actually put the man under a microscope he is nothing but hot air!!!

See talk o.

So Kwankwaso would build a party for Obi to just come and be presidential candidate abi?

Abeg, no talk am again. Obi no sabi create political party? Na only am sabi dey stingy abi? The governor wey e try be sef, na Ojukwu influence. Otherwise, who sabi am. I always knew his career was over when he dumped APGA.

Besides Kwankwaso is way more exposed, charismatic and experienced than Obi. Go and check their track records in governance, dem no be mate at all.
