Please are there available dates in Abuja. Some I know has been denied twice in Lagos. Any help, please?

I need an advice ASAP, I just started reading this thread today and I guess I would have taken a different decision if I saw it earlier.

Here's my admission story, I got admitted into three universities out of which only one gave me a fellowship award of 10k$. I didn't realise the amount I was going to pay for the entire program and the living expenses I'm supposed to show on my statement is about 80k$+ excluding the fellowship award until I paid my acceptance fee of $500. At this point, there is no going back on this school. I paid my savis fee and I've also gotten a date for my visa interview.

So, here's my challenge, I have a proof of fund of 80k$+ but I'm scared they might disapprove because the money is too much.

What I want to figure out is this.
If an applicant has been denied visa, while try to make another appointment, he or she would get to a stage where it will require to choose either regular or has been refused visa before.
If you chose refused, you won't be able to see the same date as the regular .
Using regular instead of refused is a serious problem, as stated on the cgi web.
Some people choose regular instead of refused and this leads to automatic visa denial. As this would be seen as misrepresentation.
I stand to be corrected.
My question now is how can a person that just got denied see a quick appointment date

That school offers a program that will allow me switch to Texas tech and get a bachelors in 2 years after I’m done with the associates degree. I was planning on explaining that but she cut me off anyway. How many American 17 year olds are in college? I saw someone on here with that exact explanation and they got the visa in one try! But going forward I guess I will have to change the school cos I cant re-apply without changing anything

They don't care about you switching or not. Please choose a good, reputable school that you will start with a bachelors program. Don't choose an unknown school because your uncle stays close. They see cases like that every time and they know those schools are easy to get into and mostly used by agents to get easy admission for people or by those targeting a specific city.

She was granted an expedited appointment and she chose previously refused

I initially applied for spring 2022 but later deferred to fall 2022 ,my admission letter is stating spring 2022 hope it won't affect my visa approval

On the letter the reason for denial is Section 214(b) of immigration and nationality act.

My elder brother got married there after going in with an F-1 visa back in 2015. Does this mean all members of my family will be unable to get a US visa for this reason, majority of my family lives back home and I wasn’t asked about them but got denied due to ‘lack of home ties’ I just felt it was unfair I didn’t get a chance to actually talk about myself or what my degree will do for me. What can I do before reapplying?

The VO probably refused you cos of your brother. I advice that next interview,if asked about your brother,say they have atleast 3kids or 2kids with the woman he married cos VO believes is an arrangee marriage and probably why they have no kids in the union.
