Good day house, please are all channels on nigcomsat still on? For some days mbc2, mbc3, and satview network channels have been off. But channels like voters TV and ditv are on and have signal, while the MBC have no signal.

Is it something general or peculiar with my set up?

Nothing wrong with your setup. The 12518 signal is not stable for now. It's fluctuating especially during daytime. I think the nigcomsat satellite is getting old, and may stopped working with time

Get csat pro extra satellite receiver. It's good. It's around 14k now in Alaba international market

Try Badr 5 26°E mbc 2,3 etc are there. You can track with single dish 90m ,both multi tv (astra 28°) and badr 26°E. You can add tstv side, belintersat 51.5°E moreplex package, some channels are free there. Satview is now on Turksat 42°E

Check the manual. Or try differentcombination of number like 1111, 0000, 2222, 8888 etc

90% of all decoders have the code as either 0000 or 000000 or 1234 or 123456.

It's same code for some as rightly suggested to you earlier

The code is your phone WiFi settings.
Follow these steps.
1. Go to your phone's Settings.
2. Click on Network & Internet.
3. Click on WiFi.
4. Click on Add Network.
5. Change None ( on the Security) to
WPA/WPA2-Personal Or
WPA2-Personal
depending on what you see there.
6. Click on show password,
Then, enter the password you see there
on your Satellite Decoder and save then,
Connect your WiFi.
