PDP Lagos is the most fooolish political movement I’ve ever seen.

I recently read an interview of Bode George where he complained of how APC had always rigged Lagos governorship election in favor of its candidate and even called Jimi Agbaje a mole for APC in the PDP. At this point I feel the injection baba took in the army is beginning to
affect his reasoning ability .

I lived in Alimosho LGA (The largest LGA in Lagos that has been a deciding factor in Lagos governorship elections ) for a number of years. I see how AC later ACN and now APC hold ward meetings weekly with septuagenarian retirees and youths who are majorly artisans meet weekly and discuss about the party’s progress in my neighborhood. I see how these old men draft in their younger children who are either ad-hoc staff in the local government or sole proprietors in their own little way. The market women too join them in their meetings and the meetings do not stop in non-election years.

For years I don’t see PDP Lagos do any of these things . In fact ward meetings like The one described above are practically non existent in PDP Lagos till it becomes an election year and u start seeing posters .

Personally I’m tired of APC Lagos because I feel the lack of a viable opposition has made them
do only things that favor their party and not things that favor the general good of the entire populace . They’ve been so relaxed that they only provide solutions to some identified societal problem only if it serves their own political interest as a party ( Like they are doing with NURTW issue in Lagos presently ) .

However PDP has proven to be an unserious party filled with jesters like Bode George that will only talk and humor the crowd without taking any reasonable action in the right direction. Instead of taking 4 years to plan a political coup in Lagos , they will withdraw to their shells after losing an election only to come back a year to another election and start capping shiiit.

What Tinubu did in Lagos is still unprecedented and 100 times better than any other Naija politician who just collect state allocation and spend on white elephant projects while increasing their state debts. Tinubu is the only Governor whose investments generate ROI commensurate with the investment.

And Naija problem is still 100 times bigger than him because he can never have a solution to insecurity and a mono economy

Lagos state is the biggest city in the whole Africa. It's bound to generate a lot of money. Partly by being the capital of Nigeria (biggest African country) for 100 years. Tinubu just created soo much avenue to siphon money for himself. No Lagos governor has ever failed because the state is simply too big to fail economically. But when you look at their public infrastructure, you see the failure of his policies.
