Hello everyone, I got an email from Ontario saying that they needed added documents and that I should check my profile for further information. Login into my profile it was checked green saying that no additional document is needed. Do I need to do anything or should I just wait. Thanks |

What matters really is your Job description outlined in the reference letter matching whatever NOC you chose and your reference letter coming out in the required format. So ensure that everything matches then it can fly and your Supervisor does not need company letterhead. what he needs is to write on plain paper a reference letter as your supervisor stating JD, annual or monthly salary, hours worked per week etc. They should sign and include contact info on the letter as well as a copy of their work ID card ( i assume they still have even though they no longer work for the org). Winkky:Hi. Please, mention the child whilst filing your forms. The child is your spouse's and there's a section post ita where you and your spouse will list your family members(immediate) even if the child isnt coming with you. If you dont,Canada wont recognize the child as your spouse's in future when its time to establish relationship for immigration purpose. No one knows tomorrow. 1 Like |

MrPein:this is not true. They are obligated to declare the child. A Nigerian couple was deported back to Nigeria at point of entry because of this some years ago they had to add the child in Nigeria before they could come back. Not mentioning the child too means the father can’t sponsor the child to Canada later 2 Likes |

Winkky:the child is a dependent of your husband. If you dont declare your husband can’t sponsor the child in future plus if caught you could be sent back to Nigeria to rectify it. There was a story of a Nigerian couple ( cant find the link again). Husband was PA . Wife had a child before marriage whose father is raising the child, she does not provide any finance for the child as the father is sorting it. They then decided she is not a dependent. At point of entry the officer was gisting with her about her pregnancy. Madam said this is her second pregnancy they then asked where is the first, they checked the system and could not find it. They were sent back to Nigeria. The child had to be added and medicals done before they were reissued copr. 1 Like |

Hello, thank you for all your contributions on this site. My brother got the ‘ready for visa’ email yesterday so I guess good news. For mine, I’m awaiting the July 2022 draws and I’d like some clarification. I came into Canada through study permit and now I’m on a work permit. When I apply for the FSW pathway in July, I want to use an employment history different from what I filled when I applied for a study visa. I hope it won’t matter ? Thank you so much 1 Like |

Tvickie:It matters. I’ve seen cases where they dug up old application details and asked people to explain how they were able to work at two places at the same time |

Ella2000: Thanks for sharing this timeline. I am not used to using DHL for anything but every time i check how long it will take to deliver document to Accra from Lagos they give me an estimate of 4 days or more online. Any recommendation or specific dhl office or way to get shorter delivery time ? |

NSE19:It doesn’t matter if the company decides to write graduate trainee as long as the job details are the same with your noc. E.g the noc I claimed is for managers but my job title didn’t have manager in it. Imo you have to have a good reason (which you’ll explain to IRCC in a LOE) for not providing WE letter in the required format and you don’t have a good reason. Get the letter from your office people, it makes your application much simpler. |
