As for me I did exemption, I chose not to go for NYSC as I was seriously hustling to have a better life than to be posted to a remote area in one state with a vagabond Governor, Senator, House of rep members & their likes.

Oga the post dey talk another thing you dey talk another thing. The post is not about the relevance of NYSC but a prove from a woman to show that she participated.
Between she served in 1982 when NYSC was NYSC people were happy to put on the uniform, probably you weren't even born as at then.

You get pictures, you get letter but you nor get certificate..

If you were given discharge certificate, then go back to NYSC office and get a duplicate copy. If truly you lost the certificate in transit, getting a clearance letter should not pose a problem.

You would expect her to provide discharge or exemption certificate to dispel the allegations but coming up with a letter from NECA doestn't help to reduce the offence of absconding from service as portrayed by NYSC

She enrolled on the NYSC program with no intention of ever fulfilling its demands.
This was pretty common during that era...

They said she absconded without completing the national service. The only way to counter that is for her to produce her nysc discharge certificate, which is only issued after completion of the one-year national service. The neca letter (dated November 2017) is worthless as far as the completion of her service in 1982 is concerned in that it doesn't state she did. Let her try another abracadabra defence tactics.
