Please that a mother stopped bleeding days after her delivery does not mean all is cleansed i mean those that did VD.

Its stretch marks that causes the wrinkling, I used hot water but since I had no stretch mark on my tummy, it didn't wrinkle. As for the second question, I think it depends on what went down during the delivery, no blood was scooped out of me or evacuated after birth.I was given only a small cut which healed within a week and bleeding stopped on the fourth day after delivery.

She do not need to worry,she should be concerned now about the Lo, this is one of the sacrifices mothers make, pls try to check well why she is really worried maybe maybe is because of that girlfriend title that you still use .
Motherhood is a thing of joy which comes with its pains that phases away.
Please for the stretch marks she need not to worry, just prepare your own coconot oil and buy original shear butter let her mix the two and use twice daily,remember to testify here within two weeks.

Please our mothers you guys are trying, on a general note especially for FTMs, always use original coconut oil to rub and clean your nipples while pregnant so as not to complain when the baby arrives. It really helps to clean your nipples and push your nipples out and trust me you will see dirts coming out and you will not complain when you start breastfeeding these and more are what we teach during antenatal classes.

Cleaning of nipples should be in the last few weeks of pregnancy. It can stimulate uterine contractions, that's why it's one of the ways to induce labor.

I personally avoid it because my last two babies and this one, any type causes serious contractions for me till I'm ready for baby to come.

scratching your belly when pregnant can cause that stretch marks very well,don't scratch rather rub it if incase you really want to scratch..

Rubbing of coconut oil also helps.

About the ATG on facebooks,I follow them too and I support in the issue of pressing d stomach cos me I don't press anything tho i take hot water and hot tea after birth and my uterus goes bk flat and I also do EBF too wch also helps...

I like the warm cloth pressing, maybe because it helps me sleep well and makes my body feel so relaxed. but that sitting on steam is not easy

I don't sit on steam oo,I sit on warm water...some Doctors advice not to sit on steam to avoid cutting the rope dey use to stitch there for those that have tear.

Yes, I read that on ATG platform.

I believe this stretch marks thing depends on ur body/skin, this is my 3rd pregnancy I didn't have stretch marks from previous ones and am not sure I will have in this, thou I hardly scratch my stomach if the place is itching me I will rub with Mentholatum.

And as for hot water pressing, I manage press for like a week for my first baby, but I did not even press for 3days during my last delivery I only use lukewarm water and bleeding is always less than 2weeks

That's what they are talking about.... Not all MILs use very hot water.. My MIL massaged me yesterday (hands and back), as she was putting her hand inside the water, she was diluting it , till the thing became a little warm.. She said she doesn't press with hot water oo...
You should be able to tell your mum or MIL what you want, if you want to be pressed or not but make sure you take hot liquids.. I noticed whenever I take something hot, little blood will come out so its good

I still don't know the reason we believe pressing tummy with hot water after delivery flatten the tummy o. I still don't know the magic behind it. Come and see over flat tummy even after 2 babies and an angel in 3 years without touching my tummy with hot water because I bluntly refused to let anyone touch me with hot water when I'd my first child then so nobody mentioned it to my hearing at subsequent deliveries. I just move on with my life jeje as if nothing happened. Eat well, breastfeed as every demand and enough rest did the magic for me.

At first I allowed for like 2 days but when I realised that I'm not really get any result I sha confused MIL to let hubby help me instead, so I do take the boil water inside the room and be screaming so that she can believe that he was doing it but na talk and laugh we dey laugh inside, when we were caught she kuku let me be.
