Within the space of 1 hour, I have used the water cistern more than 4 times. It's that bad.

A female friend visited this afternoon. She cooked beans. Gave her money to get fresh pepper to prepare the food.

I got busy with stuffs on my phone. While eating, I realized she added sugar. The sugar killed my appetite but I ate it as I was hungry. It was just too much. So she also bought sugar when she got pepper.

Just why?
I cook beans with 1 maggi cube and 1 onion bulb, little salt, pepper, and palmoil and it tastes delicious.

I prepared beans porridge with sweet potato while she walk in to see us eating. I served her a portion but to my greatest surprise she dashed to the kitchen to pick the sugar can and filled her own generously with sugar, I was like "JESUS" she said she cannot eat it without sugar. Real life story.

I honestly don't know why people do that.

the way some ladies handle Maggi no be for here... The problem is that they don't know the danger in taking too much of Maggi. Some men are better cook that women oo.. We have people that will cook without Maggi and sugar yet their food will be tantalizing.

Adding sugar to beans (foods) is not that strange. It depends on the beans recipe, and one has to use it sparingly because a little goes a long way in beans.
It should not be obvious that one added sugar.

The ewa agoyin you guys enjoy so much is sweetened with sugar.
Why do think ewa agoyin is sweeter than your regular home cooked beans? Sugar is their "secret" ingredient.

No be the sugar make you purge.
Maybe she no parboil the beans before she cook am or na your mind affect you, since as you see say she put sugar, your mind no come agree with the food again.
