2. And more so, is there going to be any effect on the engine if the engine valve actuator is replaced with a non vvti actuator.
3. Another one Sir, is it possible a good mechanic like yours add the wirings for the vvti connections so the vvti actuator can work?

Hello Gazzuzu, what causes slow to be going up and down while the car is idle especially when air condition is on. The car became heavy like a heavy load was placed on it wenaver I turn on the air condition. Car is Kia Rio 2013

Hello Chief, 2010 base model Highlander consumes engine oil a lot. As much as 8 to 10litres of engine oil monthly and we spend as much on servicing the car SUV monthly too.

Good day Gurus…I recently changed my valve body due to some shaft related issues as the rpm kept revving while driving. However, the new valve body fixed is an 8 pin valve body while my car is 9 bin. When the former valve body was removed, I realized that it was also an 8 pin valve body but a wiring connection was done around it but this wasn’t done when the new valve body was fixed. I experience some jerking and it’s obvious when the gear shifts while accelerating.
I have scanned and the error code is P2759.Another thing is when accelerating, there’s a sudden vibration that shakes the car and feels like it will go off on motion, this happens for a few seconds and then returns to normal.
Please what exactly should be done to get it fixed as I have spent a lot on guesses by the mechanics. My car also vibrates when the gear is engaged. Mounts, Plugs, Coils have all been checked but still experiencing this vibrations at idle

Always nice to install exactly what you removed.

As it is ecu is looking for a part on the valve body that is not there. Pretty straight forward.

I need something rugged, modern and a bit sleek like honda the good engine and fuel economy not regularly on the road like corrola

My car is attempting to send me on the way to bankruptcy...
It's from one issue to the other, my crime is to buy a 9ja used civic

The issue I'm currently having now is that my civic will just stop accelerating and won't rev beyond 2500 rpm while in motion. The first experience was on third mainland bridge while coming from ibadan. I managed it like that till I reached my location with great power loss, then after it cool down a little bit it was normal after I restarted the engine and it rev as it used to.

I didn't encounter anything like that again for few days then until yesterday while I was on a trip it did same thing. I have to manage it like that till I finished the trip because. Once it start the speedometer won't go beyond 40 and will diminish once the road is no a level ground. No matter how hard I press the gas, it won't just respond and the gear shift won't be normal again.

Once I kill the engine to scan the car there won't beany fault code registered on the ECU.
I knew something is greatly wrong so I put my scanner in the car and it happened again. I slowly moved to stop by the road side and connected the scanner and these codes popped up.

P0606: Powertrain ECM/PCM Processor

P1658: Powertrain

Fuel pump complete Assy was changed in February,

All spark plugs were was also replaced when I changed the Knock engine sensor in February.

The car is a 2007 Honda Civic
Please kindly help in finding solutions to these codes
