Religious conviction is a very personal thing. Let your light so shine before men is what the bible recommends. No one has the right to force his belief down the throat of others and expect them to take it in hook, line and sinker. Jesus said no one can come to me except the ones that have be touched and brought by the father. So if someone has not come to Christ yet God has not touched them to come. When the leader of an organization is verybopen to criticism and positive changes how much more the followers but the reverse seems to be the case here. Wisdom is the principal thing. The outward modesty notwithstanding, Deeper Life occasioned their current state by Prayerlessness, the Prayer of deeper life is not more than two minutes before the message, you hear thing like, Our brother has asked for prayer, then they moved to Let us pray for our Pator, then let us pray for our nation Nigeria, You can actually mimic the drama and they end it after every two seconds , then announcement , No real prayer, No real tarrying. The idolatry in Deeper Life is subtle, The worship of Pastor Kumuyi, they dont call it so, but you hear them say " we thank God for our Pastor" the man seemed to enjoy the adulation and people have to say it to maintain their position in church, Carnal men are running the show unlike the Deeper life of the early 80s that we saw, They have sent Jesus out without knowing. when activities increases, It is a sure sign that God has depart in a church,

Jesus Christ didn't care whether mary wore a wig or used Mary Kay before meeting Him this since He never taught against such things. These things are of this world and not of the Kingdom of God, like your cars, your houses, your cellphones, chairs, paper, toilet paper, food, water, fabric/textile, shoes, toilets etc., and so it doesn't matter whether you use them or not.

You will see old men with grey heads who aught to be preachers in their 20s and 30s and 40s, they seat in church Year in Year out listening to Bible study forever. many grew old in the Church because the founder is an encyclopedia of scripture and others are useless. even now, You find carnal men around the man who come to the podium to do some gymnastic, men who do not have secret prayer life boasting at Crusades, There is a lot wrong with deeper life, but when you mention it, they call you backslider and say it is because you have left the church. Deeper life has tied many destinies and the revival of deeper life has expired. they are just undergirding the ship Acts 27:17, Some of these children listing Legalism never saw revival . all they met is Forms. "Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof" 2 Timothy 3:5

Reminds me of my tender age in Deeper Life Bible Ministry (1994 to 2003).. The best years I can remember....

Heaven was the goal.

Holiness was the watch word.

Evangelism and soul winning souls was our hobby.

Miss those days at the youth church, youth retreat, December and Easter retreats...
