Anyway, oil and gas management deals with the commercial and financial aspect of the industry as well. Make reference to finance-related courses in the curriculum which attracted you to the course.
Make it known that, you seek to gain expertise in oil and finance and even more, which is why you pick management.
Remember oil nd gas management deals with finance management as well.

I have an admission in UK, but they don't accept January intake. If awarded the scholarship can one differ till September next Yr?

I already got admission in UK still expecting some but picked Malaysia in my PTDF online application. Can it possibly be changed in case I get the award

Attend both if possible. if it happens on the 30th fine, if not, then you attend the 1st June.

I think there is a challenge with the virtual interview. I was scheduled for 25th 6:15pm. It was only displaying when meeting starts we'll let people know you're waiting in the lobby. My friend who was scheduled for today 9am had same challenge.
So lets hope they will rectify the glitch before Monday.

The same thing happened to me yesterday; my meeting was scheduled for 11:00a.m, I waited in the lobby for 47 minutes before it started. I would have missed it if I didn't exercise patience.

I am yet to get a link and I'm scheduled for Tuesday by 10:30am.

My experience as I had my interview today.

First mail said my interview was on 31st. This was from ptdf.

The second was from Microsoft Team on 22nd with the link saying it was on 27th 12:30.

The third came in on 25th saying maintaining 27th as my interview date but changed my time to 10 am.

I did it with my phone on the app already downloaded.

I logged in at 9:55 am and the interview came up at 9:57 am. Along the line, a call came in and disrupted my network. I couldn't reconnect again after trying. So I had to wait until 10:50 am. I sadly logged out and was asking why the person has to call that time.

Since I have another invitation by 12:30 pm, I logged in again at 12:15 pm and was waiting in the lobby. Thank God I got ushered in again and I had my interview this time successfully. It was about 6 minutes.

Questions:

Do you want a fully funded or partial funding
What course do you want to study and the relevance in oil and gas.
Pick one problem in your chosen field and how it can be solved.
Do you belong to any professional body?
They also asked me to share the last part of my transcript.

My Advice:
Have a picture of your documents for easy sharing as you can share pdf files.
If you are having multiple dates and time, start your login from the first date and time and wait until about 45 minutes later. If unattended to, login again at a later time and date.

1. Done with my interview. I was a little nervous cos I traveled a distance to the interview venue without much time to rest but they were friendly and realized I came from afar. But it was a success

2. Awards and publications were not asked of me. Only Academic certificates, professional membership (I had 2 including a foreign professional membership) All were scored accordingly. I think a first class and 2:1 is accorded 10 and 8 marks respectively. And and A and B in Waec/Neco is 5 and 4 marks respectively

Here's my advice. Find one centre close to you and go for your interview ASAP.

Reason: At my interview centre (Ibadan), one of the staff told us that if we are not with any of our required original documents, we should better go and get it. He also stated that the interview would run for the given period, and we can return to do the interview before they wrap up...

In this same light, I advise you that, if you're yet to get an invite despite being shortlisted, or you have missed your schedule, then you can try and visit a closer centre... and explain to them.

Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to go for the interview.

I flew in to Abuja this morning from Lagos with 0630am flight and I was at the venue by 0930. My interview was scheduled for 1030am but we were all allowed to sit orderly in the auditorium and they were attending to us in the order you arrived.

I stepped out to visit a friend around knowing fully well I will use his Colour printer to print some document and I was back by 1050am. My interview started 11:10am and my questions were:
What is your name,
Which state, local govt?

They then asked me to submit my Documents in this order, First Degree, NYSC and O Level.
For the O Level, I gave them my NECO and the guy spotted my WAEC and asked for it. I explained to them that there was D7 in the WAEC that was why I am not using it. And he said thank God I brought it cos I can combine the results. They picked all the distinction on my WAEC and picked the other high grade on the NECO.

Afterwards, I was asked me to summarize my Statements of Purpose in two(2) minutes. One of the interviewer underline a statement on my statement of purpose where I was talking about my long term goals of developing the Nigerian Navy Cyber Security department. I shall told him the Nigerian Navy provide security to the oil platforms and all.

I was then asked for my professional bodies certificate, I gave them 4. Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Cyber Security Expert Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) and National Institute of Management (NIM).

They asked why I choose the particular University on my application.

Lastly, I was asked the nature of my job in the Navy.

I wasn’t asked of any publication but I have one with me and I also have some of my awards but I wasn’t asked. They just told me best of luck and I told them thank you and left.

My Opinion: Seeing the multitude of people that came for the interview and knowing they are picking just 4 per state then you need prayers and God‘s Grace to pull this one through.
You can just wear Kaftan or sew up and down in Abuja center, they didn’t even comment on the dressing.

I have been waiting for almost two hours now for the virtual interview. They aren't organized with it at all. It's so frustrating.

Lucky you, they picked my worst possible grades.

I was at the Ibadan Venue. They said that you can come for the interview on any date, if you are not ready on the day you were scheduled. Just come on any day before the end of the interviews.
