fergie001:Cases delivered today were deliberated weeks or months ago. That is how courts operate except in emergency cases. So these cases were most like deliberated when Mary Odili was there. Not accusing anybody but the SP decided these cases long ago. They were only read today. Tell yourself the truth. |

Wizmj4real: I have to agree with you to a reasonable extent. Wike is one Governor who wields the stick more than he dangles the carrot in his leadership. I see the nonsense happening in Anambra where criminals are having field days killing and maiming innocent citizens for one reason or the other, and it makes me shake my head in sadness and utter disappointment over the kind of leaders in the East. You cannot try that level of madness in a society governed by Wike, Obasanjo or the former governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke. Those three men can decimate an entire village to dust just to eliminate any form of disturbance. And they speak bluntly without bothering on whose ox is gored. 1 Like |

cyril10: But why would a Court give a judgement that cannot be enforced? #6b? You want him dead? Death sentence is better. Instead of giving a reasonable fine like #20m or #50m maximum. Where do they expect him to get that kind of money? Even if I have it, I will never give it. I prefer to go to jail if there's jail term for such. Our judges should hand over judgements that are enforceable. |

Moral lesson of the story is don't speak if you don't have fact. He alleged the SC justices and when they sat on his matter they deliver below the belt punch. I guess he would now understand the phrase "seek before you speak" |

Gamesmart:You have to reason logically before write. The allegation is that Odili bribed the Supreme Court for Wike to get favourable judgment in 2015 Governorship election. Now the case is before the Supreme Court that Dakuku claimed was bribed. Or are you saying that the Supreme Court should reduce the amount awarded by the High Court, affirmed by the Court of Appeal. Dakuku should go and pay his debt pls. You can't accuse Supreme Court of a country of corruption without one proof |
