I captured in Alausa, March 10. Collection date was supposed to be April 14. I went there April 14, no show. I went there again yesterday, May 19, they said it's not ready. The person that said he will help me said I should bring 15k.

They want to frustrate DIY at all cost. If you know you will need your passport next year, and you want to do DIY, pls start the process now or else!

Osogbo passport Centre
My old passport had less than 6 months left and I have already bought flight ticket in 30days time.
I was told that I needed a new passport
No available date in Ikoyi, Festac and Abuja
Osogbo and Abakaliki was the only available options.
I paid 70k for 32pages.
Application submitted around 2nd of May
My contact too my file and old passport to Osogbo on 6th of May. He goes to Osogbo every Friday to submit the files at passport office.
Capturing was done on 13th of May and passport was ready on the 18th of May. I picked it up at my own convenience
The stress was going to Osogbo for Capturing and pick up but at the end I am happy that I didn't have to move my flight.

I want to apply for passport but I have two names in my NIN while other of my credentials have three names. Also the date of birth in my NIN is not the same with my other documents. Please how do I solve this.

Good day all, Just discover this thread and frankly it's too cumbersome to go through it all plus the possible change of information. I am new to the passport process, entirely new and really need guidance on how to apply. I have NIN, ID and any documents they may request for. I first wanted to register on my own in the website that's if this website is correct (https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/application) but processing state, Validity, Processing office etc isn't available. I currently reside in Lagos Btw. I am not in a haste but don't mind it being available in a month or two at most. I would appreciate your complete guidance from about the likely price, best approach and entire process. Thank you.

You'll need to make those arrangement on your NIN for your names cost 500

You need to change your date of birth also on your NIN cost N15,000

One court affidavit for change of name 1500 Abuja or 750 States

Age declaration at the court same price above.

Newspaper publication for the name change.

Please make sure you get this write before applying for Passport if not you'll may make things be complicated for you.
