one thing l've experience with that phone is you don't change only the charging port of it. it's always advisable to change the full downboard of the phone. once you change it, problem solved! or if you've changed the downboard (most engineers call it 'down panel') and it's still the same thing, then it's simply the charging ic that's faulty. that too can also be repaired; but by a professional engineer.

that's sad. don't mind my asking but how long does it takes before it gets spoilt again? l've seen and fixed them. l could have help out, but distance is a barrier. l'm base in delta state. maybe if you have any trusted professional, l might help you discuss with him

Try this, change the battery and try it with the first charger you used when you bought it.... if there is an increase in the charging speed then you know it's the battery.

E dey..... Just click the Recent app button..... you will see the split screen option at the top of the Recent app.

Have you changed the battery? If you haven't changed it, try and change it before repairing the ic.

Now everytime I put in my password, it says "iPhone is disabled for the next one hour"

As it is, it doesn't recognize my password anymore and locked me out.

Two things could be at play here. it's either the screen is faulty; thereby mistouching the passcode, or you've change your passcode and probably forgot. did you try inputing the passcode while it was unplugged? if yes, and you sure your phone's screen is not malfunctioning, then you need to flash the phone!

Before you buy another battery make sure it's at 50% and above.... if it was 40% below then the battery will be dropping fast fast

If it's dark the light could be damaged..... or could be the phone is selecting the screen.
