I think it makes it easier to push the button for the candidate when he/she has the required skills/experience coupled with a good Uni and an alumni that can speak on their behalf.

I advise people to go for high tuition deposit sch what's d essence of pay 1k or 2k deposit out of 15k or 14k fees you face unnecessary stress wen u get to UK that's y I like schools dat demand for 50% deposit it will greatly help wen u eventually get there

Please I need candid advice from guru in the house. I’m presently living & working in Dubai and my wife and daughter are residing in Naija. I got conditioner admission offer into Bedfordshire university for masters programme and I intend to take my wife and daughter along if all things being equal. Pls house, is it advisable for me to apply for my student visa in Dubai while my dependant(wife & daughter) are in naija? How do I include them in my visa application since they based in naija & I intend taking them along with me to UK? Thanks in advance for your good response & advice.

I got a conditional offer(Msc Robotics and Autonomous systems) today which states the condition that I have to upload/send the Official copy of my transcripts. I had uploaded the student copy during the application process. Both ASUU AND NASU are on strike at the moment.

If you got an offer, were you also asked for this? If yes, how did you go about it abeg. I'm planning on calling them on Monday to inform them of the strike and how my stamped student copy should be enough.

Please advice. Also, if there is any groupchat for Lincoln September intake, I would love to join. Thanks.

I’m really not very good with lengthy messages, but the journey has been amazing, started the journey with Hertfordshire got denied because of previous visa denial. I then applied to Birmingham city university, got a conditional offer. After sending all the required documents, I did my interview and everything seemed to be going fine.

Then the time for biometrics and visa application came, this is very my faith was tested at different times. I can say somethings because of how sensitive they are but trust me when I say it was a real trying period. Did my biometrics 28th of April, got nsf around 14th of May. I honestly got scared after the nsf Mail(they requested nothing by the way). Got a collect mail yesterday (my self and my wife got the Mail almost at the same time) we picked our visas today.

She graduated last year from Madonna University with 2nd class upper, they've collected statement of result but certificate is not yet ready.

Let her ask her HOD when it is gonna be out.

I agree with you.
My school is asking for 2k pounds deposit but I want to pay 3k5 pounds. The more fees I'm able to pay here in Nigeria, the easier it is for me when I eventually travel.

Jejely pay your 2k deposit you were asked to , when you apply or get your visa you stil have plenty of time to pay extra fees before you leave Nigeria. Leave the excess cash in your account first

Someone is recommending it but I want to get other opinions before trying them out.
UBA was recommend and that one is now a waste of time. Same as AccessBank.

Please this � where in the form A should I put my application number and student ID? The school said I need to put my application number and student ID when making the deposit payment, but it's not in form A. I am yet to complete the online form. Thanks.

Not to sand inside your garri and I don't know your capability school wise but this particular course at Lincoln is very hard and there is not much of robotics building in the course. It's packed with Data Science & AI modules. Has loads of Python programming as well. If these kind of thing interests you, you can go for it. The course is designed for computer science guys with good programming and data analysis knowledge.

This isn't assumption. They are what I heard from two of my University friends taking the course right now.

Thanks for your concern. Firstly, I have checked the modules( as seen in the image attached) myself before applying. And it is exactly what is expected for a course titled "Robotics and Autonomous systems". Perhaps, your friends were not aware before they took it on.

Secondly, I have a very good experience with Python, Control, Robotics, data analysis and AI/Machine learning. In fact, I have certifications in these areas, so I do know what I'm getting into. Python is one of the key programming language used in the AI/Robotics field. So loads of Python programming is expected.

Thirdly, would you be kind enough to ask your friends if they had to submit their official transcript or the student copy was enough? I would appreciate it.

Once again, thanks for your input. And thanks in advance for the confirmation. I hope to get a reply from you with respect to my third point soon.

Hello house ... I got offers for MSC Artificial intelligence and data science at Sunderland, derby, ulster, suffolk....all September intake ...but I'm planning to settle for Suffolk because of the fees and scholarship discount which might reduce my school
fees to about £11500 or £12000.
But was required to make my offer I have to do any of the following which I'm opting for a TEST WAIVER...

3) I saw they offer accommodation for students 3k for a year.. people that have passed through this university or are currently enrolled there should advice if the school accommodation is a good choice for an international student, is that amount for a 12 months or a session which is 9 months, is it better to opt for accommodation in that area(outside the university) or I stick to the university accommodation
