What about the staff of AAU that have not been paid this, Ekiadolor I heard is basically the same thing. He seems to be interested in just the core civil servants.
i tire o...edo state civil servise workers that is less than 5500...if he get mind make him pay ekiadolor salaries and pension for over 4 years nothing has been paid..then state poly and uni.

Sincerely, I am not aware that he commissioned a single wheelbarrow, much less of buses. So, I am confused.
One thing that I can confidently say is that the governor has made some investments in tech. Last year, a friend benefited from the Decagon's program, and he is presently employed at somewhere better than the private school he was teaching at.
Also, there are some indigenes that are under his scholarship for the nanodegree by Udacity. The programs include Frontend, Data Analysis, and Data Management or so. The beneficiaries didn't pay kobo. The present set will graduate next month, and they have started calling on those that are interested to apply for the next session that will start in June.

One thing Obaseki doesn't joke with since he became Governor is workers' salaries. I don't know much about the N40,000 new minimum wage payment but his antecedents with respect to salary payments will make me believe that he has implemented it.

Nice job for increasing salaries. But I don't believe in government increasing salary because Govt workers are always less than 20% of labour force.

I believe good roads, electricity, and other basic amenities will have the most positive effect on my life..

I have a nurse in the USA earning over 15k to 20k dollars monthly.. I also have a nurse in Germany less than 3k euros monthly.. The both live almost equal perfect lives and even achieving their dreams.. It's not about salaries, but about basic amenities

The thing is the People's Democratic Party are not even a serious Party.

The introduction of Wike has made them loose their values.

Take for instance the way they (the PDP Governor's) under the Instigation of Wike pushed away Uche Secondus why because, Uche opposed their plans to impose Successors as against the People's Wish.

A Party Faithful and Indigenous Politician like Obong Bassey Albert Akpan lost the Primaries because the Present Governor anointed a total stranger to be his successor.

Rigged the Primaries by allowing only Ad-Hoc Delegates to vote and caging the AdHoc delegates with state funds.

On a normal day, His Preferred Candidate can't even win a Local Government Elections.



So you see Why PDP can't even stand a Chance to Win In 2023..

That's not true, Gov. Udom actually supported Uche Secondus, Udom Manipulated the 3delegates per Ward Congress, where over 90% wards in 329wards in AKS were completely disenfranchised which the matter is still in court pending hearing on June 1st,

Yes, he caged the 987delegates+Statutory delegates in hotels amid tight security, in case President Buhari signs the amended Electoral Acts to allow Statutory delegates vote.
Gov.Udom did that to keep the delegates away from other aspirants running for different elective positions including Governorship aspirants who are not in tune or not support of his succession plans.
The party in the state went ahead to use the controversial ad-hoc delegates in conducting the primaries, because that's what is obtainable in the new Electoral Law at the moment passed by NASS &signed by Mr. President.

The smart Senator (Obong) Bassey Albert (OBA) having cited court orders of Maintaining Status Quo Ante Bellum of the controversial 987 ad-hoc delegates as well as his inability to have access to the 987delegates early enough & the possibility of apparatus of the state government under Gov Udom's watch to rig the primaries in favour the Governor's annoited being Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

Senator OBA wrote the State party chairman(PDP) of his withdrawal from the PDP primaries, he did this before the primaries, he did not stand the election citing court orders I mentioned earlier, so he wasn't rigged out.

He wasn't even at the venue of the primaries
The 1vote they jokingly allocated to Senator OBA was to make jest of him. It wasn't real.

Gov.Udom, State party chairman, Fathers of/in Faith, pot bellied political Guarantors &few cabals who are confusing themselves over the wish of over 7million AKS people knows 100% that Pastor Umo Bassey Eno can't defeat Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) or Onofiok Luke, even Akan Okon in a free&fair contest of popularity and acceptability among the delegates and the entire state.

Senator OBA even get level for this current PDP National which he also help to build, but you know Governors feels they're too powerful in the sense that, they have deep pockets, using public funds to manipulate the process to install their stooge/puppet as successors.

That is where my wife work.

His human capital development is top notch.

Most of the people here attacking most of the time are those that are pro Tinubu and Oshiomole that “Edo Nor Be Lagos” mantra affected.

I remember in January when I was at ound, my mom complain of a tooth problem.
So we were refered to the new specialist hospital.
When we attended our appointment, I couldn't believe where I was.
Not at the infrastructure or the facilities ( this one was top notch)but I have never seen a govt hospital function so professionally like I was in the UK.
Staffs were so neatly dressed and mannered. It was everything I didn't expect.
The nurses, the process, the machineries... Everything was accordingly and in time.
30 mins we were out of the place.
Obaseki attracts saneness to his govt.
If you attract agberos, your govt will be run by agberos.

I am speaking fact as someone on ground you are trying to insinuate that I am Obaseki spokesperson.

I am not in Lagos and I can’t come online and start saying governor Sanwolu is not working or trying to rubbish any of his performances because I don’t like his person or because I don’t belong to the same political party with him.

Admit it. Most of you against Obaseki are pro Tinubu and Oshiomole because of the Edo Nor Be Lagos hurricane that badly affected you guys.

Here is a news by reputable news source - Channels TV who are kinda anti-Obaseki and they even went to the streets of Benin to confirm from multiple Edo civil servants and they affirmed that he has started paying the new 40k minimum wage yet most of you are still saying is a lie.

Normally I don’t comment on political issues like this but because of people like living in another states who always want to rubbish anything good from people who do not share same political ideology or part with you.

You are very free to say any nonsense online. If he is paying the money, I would be aware as I'm not residing in the moon. I stay here in Benin. That was was how he made so many promises when campaigning. I remember those Ogbe stadium workers standing on his defence on several occasion. Their reason was that he pays salary on time. Only for him to return for second term and fire the entire workers. I couldn't help laughing at their foolishness. They were lucky the government backed down from that decision.

Oshiomole had a larger financial chest
Borrowed heavily and left the state in debt.
Obaseki can't borrow much because most of the money he helped his boss borrowed went into private pocket. So he is just managing what he has. I believe if he had been in Ohio shoes, he would have fared better than him. This guy doesn't like noise at all.

Edo state government should construct roads, the last time I visited Benin I couldn't believe what I saw.......Most of the street roads are terrible, a pregnant woman could have miscarriage on those road. One of them is that one by Rock Of Ages church, don't know the name of the street. I had back pain for 1wk after I left Benin.

Then come to Aba, you'll call Benin London.

All the propaganda by Tinubu, Oshiomole, and his crew was because Obaseki refused to be their godson. He refused godfatherism. That's the first step to bettering a country.

Imagine Tinubu posing as godfather of Lagos becoming Nigeria's president. He'll be collecting from Lagos and Nigeria. Isn't Nigeria going to die? I mean a second death?

He doesn't do the showoff commissioning thing doesn't mean he isn't working. He is actually working and his projects are used instantly without any showoff.

He's not like others who showoff. Why should a governor showoff in the first place? Isn't that his duties and obligations? Isn't that what he is paid to do? Provide social amenities?

Any propaganda you hear about his is the hate from the godfathers controlling the state because he refused to be their godson.
