Most Benue indegen are Catholics, that explains why we have 4 catholic diocese in Benue (Makurdi, Otukpo, Gboko, Katsinala doioces), the rest are Methodists and Pentecostal especially the Idomas and Igedes, then the rest part of Tivs are NKST.

You can't even call them indigenous Muslims because you can't trace their Islamic origin beyond their grandparents and most of their children are now converting back to Christianity because they feel out of place. They are negligible in number, not up to 10%.
