I'm on FiberOne as well. But with Static IP which shoots the price above the roof.

MTN and Airtel knew all along what they should do, but Nigeria factor doing little to gain much has resulted in poor infrastructure and service delivery.
Base stations been powered by diesel generator is one of Nigeria factor, shouldn't they have keyed into numerous communication satellites to beam their services to individual and corporate bodies, just like purported approval for starlink which is satellites based.
Many homes are enjoying free to air satellite tv stations in Nigeria, why has it been so technically difficult for MTN and Airtel to improve?
If it happens that starlink is given an approval, believe me that MTN will scrap off the ground base stations.
Question do MTN have diesel generator operated base stations in Joburg, Durban, Gueteng, Capetown, Pretoria...?

No matter how much they sell it after the initial launch, 6 months after the price go drop.

So if you don't need it urgently, just wait.
