Tinubu can't pick a Northern Muslim because Muslim Muslim ticket won't fly. Atiku might not be loved in the north, but he is still a Northern Muslim, and therefore will get the vote ahead of any southerner regardless of religion.

Like you said, Jona seems to be the best bet, so he can pick a Northern Muslim with a strong base and allow rigging to do the rest.

Tinubu’s ambition is a big headache for APC as a party. He makes it so difficult for them to match PDP with the emergence of Atiku.

A Christian VP for Tinubu will not sell in the north, neither will a Muslim-Muslim ticket be acceptable to all and sundry in this age and time ( considering how religion and ethnicity has been a major issue in the country in recent times )

The 10 days APC have to plan their election will be for serious brainstorming .
