As much as people say Atiku does not have core following in the North, he has only ever run against Northerners (Buhari and Yaradua). I know how those Northmen go behave when the contest is South Vs North. Tinubu with a Christian VP will be a hard sell in the North especially if Atiku picks a strongman in the South (probably Rivers, AkwaIbom or Delta because they return the highest turnout in the South)

I am from north but Atiku will not get block votes from the north.

The contest will be between kwankwaso and APC in kano. Pdp doesn’t even have some house of reps candidate here. The party is literally dead in kano.

The only states APC will deliver with a very wide margin are Borno, Yobe, and zamfara as pdp has no structure in these 3 states.

It will be a hotly contested election as the 12m buhari northern votes are going to be shared. But since APC have the most governors here, they might have some upper hand regardless of who apc fields.

Se/ss will be decider, if they turn up for Atiku like they were doing for good luck, then Atiku will have a great chance.

But if se/ss no give bloc vote to atiku, then he’s to return 2027.

I don’t know if sw will be stupid enough not to give bloc votes to tinubu tho.

People are not really happy with APC because of the banditry, inflation and poverty. But if APC could get imams to preach to people that it is a sign of an end time, or a test from Allah and people will be rewarded if they remain patient and pray to God, like Qur’an said, then that might not be an issue.
