I have been seeing more south south politicians becoming more active in political Matters within the 2 parties, that is because Goodluck paved the way.

Wike and amechi are important figure in their respective parties,if not for Goodluck, they wouldn't have the political confidence to make noise.

South east on the other hand have no political strength in the party they support, no political confidence and no candidate that can contest and match the popularity of wike and Jonathan or other south south politician.

This is what most people have failed to understand, the Igbos have a significant population living and working/doing business outside the south east. In fact, in all the states outside the south east, after the indigenes, the Igbo is next tribe with a sizeable population and they vote during elections. Eg Kano, Lagos State.

Even if the igbos are a measly 5% of the total population in any given city and if the whole 5%ters in every city join with the south east to vote just one candidate it will be a huge amount of votes cast towards the aspirant.

Igbos just need a wake up call and they can tilt the policy in this country to their favor
