Btwn I'll repeat this. RR main thing was to work with Murtough in identifying players and building a structure. It doesn't matter if Ten Hag likes him or not. People in those positions and the managers usually don't even like each other.

The only reason we've been talking about a relationship between RR and ETH is because RR worked as an interim for a bit. So we all expected him to advise ETH.

If Ten Hag didn't want to take to RR, it had no effect on him or his position.

This shouldn't be a surprise at all, ETH presser clearly showed it. I think clinching the top 4 was part of the conditions for the consultancy role, and since he didn't meet up, his fate was left in the hands of ETH.
