A woman has been apprehended by residents after the dead body of her husband was found lying inside thier bathroom.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, May 29 at Ijoko area of Ogun State.

HGS Media Plus gathered that deceased identified as Mr Nnanna has not been seen for over a week thereby raising suspicion by neighbours.

It was also gathered that the suspicion grew up when neighbours began to persive foul smell from the couple's apartment.

Consequently, the landlord and residents decided to confront the woman about the whereabouts of her husband.

However, the woman told them that her husband was fine and then slammed the door on them.

HGS Media Plus learnt that they landlord immediately alerted the vigilante members who forced their way into the house and found the lifeless body of the man in the toilet with his wife sleeping close to him.
