It said the previous visa number entered wasn't valid. I entered the visa number of the one issuers back in 2020 that we never got to use.

I do not think the school has that influence. I have message my school on several occasion but their respond is that they can not expedite the process.

Did you send a message to your school?

If so can you share their response?

Did you email any other person in the embassy that you think we can also message for assistance?

WITS has a strong influence. Email the international student office, and they might be able to help you-- at least if your department can confirm that you can still enrol in the programme.

We had to go to VFS office in Abuja to apply. We've bought the tickets since 2020, they were to expire 2022, but we left them opened. The whole thing is so annoying

Has anyone ever successfully applied for the e-visa? The website is not organised at all. If you don't save your entries periodically, the page times out and all data gets wiped out . I would have loved to get the e-visa. That would have saved us the expenses of taking 5people to Abuja to apply at VFS

SA Visa actually costs about 7k. VFS charges, 25k. Daylight robbery

This south Africa e-visa are ripper after I made a payment for e visa for 3 applicant and the payment didn't reflected on my profile dashboard, I sent several emails and their response didn't corresponded to my complained and they cancelled our application today .

Just wait for another week and reapply. Same thing happened to me. And make sure you filled all the requested files i mean as a tourist i think you don’t need medical papers and police clearance and something like this? So even you put your documents as a tourist put in the remaining places that isn’t for tourist again reput the same papers to make all the files complete. If not you will have same problem again ( God Forbid)
