1. Ten Haag worked in a structured environment at Ajax. He doesn’t have that at United.

2. Ajax has sufficient footballing people at top executive positions. At United, we have Fletcher, Murtough, and Nitrogen’s friends. They’re more interested in buying a player because he has lots of Instagram followers, not because he’s technically good and has drive and the tight mentality.

Erik Ten Hag hasn’t really worked in a gbasgbos environment like United. It’s a coin toss if he’ll do fine. And with less footballing people around to support him, his odds reduces. If an animal flourishes when they’re underwater, it doesn’t mean they’ll flourish on land.

But we shouldn't be celebrating the fact that Murtough and Fletcher are now the only people supporting ETH. The man might not appreciate how huge the task is. In his first presser he was talking about how the squad wasn't that bad because we came 2nd 2 seasons ago.

If he is banking on that misleading info to assess the squad he might be in for a shocker next season. I desperately want him to succeed but if he depends on these same unreliable players he might be setting himself up for failure. These players will play well during preseason and then collapse once things get heated. We have seen the movie 4-5 times before starring Andreas Pereira and others. ETH has not even seen the preview.

We’ve been saying the same things for years. A good structure with more football people at the helm of affairs.

1) Nobody has explained to us how Ajax not having a structure (allegedly) is a good thing for Manchester United to emulate.

Example: Chike Obi did not study to pass his Mathematics exam, so Akpors too will not study.

2) Nobody has also explained how a man that took a club from Division 4 to Champions League semi-final in 8 years did not succeed as director football. The same Champions League semi-final that we haven't smelled in years o.

3) Nobody has also explained how a man that has almost always been on the list of Top 5 directors of football is now being judged with performances as an interim manager.
In fact i will do giveaway if any Bible believing brother can mention another rated director of football who has been judged by his coaching record.

Fabrizio Romano: In the conversation between Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick, the plan was completely different to the expectations. There was no direct problem between the pair but it was complicated to have the same ideas.

This i think was the problem and why ETH didn't want him to stay. Their football philosophies are similar but not identical. Rangnick would have wanted to go for physical players with decent technique while ETH would have wanted technical players with with decent physicality.

I suspect Frenkie De Jong would have been a major point of disagreement.
