But i am currently in Turkey as a student

THANKS
Hmmm, I see then your GCMS notes will really expose the thoughts of the VO on both grounds.

But wait oh, did you mention the huge need for your expertise in Niger Delta n other areas in Nigeria affected by natural and man made causes? My 2cents…

Keep the faith. It will end well.

Please, someone with useful advice about my question should respond to me to help calm my nerves here. I submitted another study permit application after sending in the withdrawal request of this particular one whose reviews have started to IRCC; this is basically the reason why I am so alarmed now.

Onaya:
Hello NL Family,

I logged into my account this morning to find out that reviews on eligibility and medical results have commenced on an application I had already applied for its withdrawal within 24hrs of submitting it. I filled out a web form to withdraw the said application, after which I got this feedback from IRCC: "A note has been added on file to notify the responsible office that you wish to withdraw your application. The office will determine if the application can be withdrawn and will issue a refund within 16 weeks of the withdrawal, if applicable."

Please, is it normal to see review on eligibility and medical results on an application whose withdrawal has been applied for?

The course is not in the faculty of environmental science. Its applied science.

The course focuses on;
1; Quality assurance
2; waste management.
2; Pollution control. e.t.c

I have passion for the course. My first degree was in Biochemistry.

I was opportune to do my I.T in the Nigeria Bottling Company. i like to work in the area of Effluent treatment plant and Water treatment. That was why i choose the program.

Your first degree and your choice of study are somewhat aligned.

You did Bsc Biochem here in Nigeria or or Turkey?
If in Nigeria, what are you studying in Turkey?
How well did you explain your intended move from Turkey to Canada?

In your next application maybe broaden what you could achieve with course, it may not be in environmental sciences but can tither towards it.. you mentioned pollution control… pollution is every where.. it affects our water bodies if those effluents gets into the communities water bodies etc..(I could go on and on here) Lol.

You definitely can broaden this scope on your SOP/LOE

My people if you want to apply for a study permit, be ready to provide funds for your entire stay NOT THE ONE YEAR that is on their website o
The below new jurisprudence is an ambush many VOs will be using now.
https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/fct/doc/2022/2022fc728/2022fc728.html?autocompleteStr=2022%20FC%20728%20&autocompletePos=1

This is something about law and judgement that sometimes is really worrying. If the applicant had not gone for JR, this wouldn't have been the case. Now, the VOs can always use this as an excuse and this is permanent. I hate it

Yes i did a tuition deposit
I did not submit my bs

Definitely order it

Uzoamaka123:
Did you make a tuition deposit?

Did you submit your own bank statement.
I think you’re supposed to do submit your own statement too.

I think the issue is with the third party sponsor.
Just order your gcms notes to be 100% sure what the problem is.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Wesay01(m): 5:15pm On May 30, 2022
I did a lot of mistake about my financial aspect i will get the gcms note to see the real issue thank you so much guys @kweje @Uzoamaka123

kweje:

Dear Wesay,
It seems you used two 3rd party sponsor and didn't prove your relationship.
One 3rd party is enough work to prove, not to talk of 2.
The VO probably thinks these people wont be committed to your studies when push come to shove.
What about your own personal statement?

Paying tuition, transferring living funds to your account, are some ways others have mentioned here in their reapplication.

Your GCMS notes will say more. I guess you may already be figuring put what you can do differently.

All the best.

Hi Everyone and congratulations to all who have received their PPR. I applied in April and currently awaiting my good news. Though I started following the thread after my application, I am amazed at the amount of information provided and the care shown to people on this thread.

Please help a sister….what next is the route to PR after we get the student visa to Canada? Is there anyone that understands what is expected or has any thread that I can read from? The plan is to JAPA ooo…My admission is in Ontario in Fall (September) for a one year course.

My Sister got a refusal letter: I have applied for GCMS. Two reasons:
1. Financial status and Asset: she paid half of the tuition $10k and showed statement of account N3.5m. I guess these are not enough. For assets she showed landed asset with no valuation.
2. Family ties in Canada stronger than that of Nigeria: Her husband and son are not coming with her, so what other family ties. Yes she has 3 brothers and a sister in Canada.
Application Date 17th February, upfront medical, new portal, Nairobi visa office, refusal letter today.
I need suggestions while I wait for her GCMS.
