Upload the invoice you generated from the intermediary financial institution your school uses eg Flywire, CIBC, PayMyTuition, etc. Iamgrac: 1 Like |

Thank you for your contribution, we will do better with the pof. her siblings in canada are 1 citizen, 1 PR and two TR. We thought her husband and son and landed property was sufficient as home ties, apparently it is not. Toceen2022: |

This question? Unfortunately no one has an answer. Timelines shared on this platform shows that it can last for a day, weeks, months or even a year. Keep holding up... Awas: |

Age is not a factor. You just have to give reasons for the study gap. starrez: |

quin9: Your son is your dependant so the duration of his visa is not an issue, na VO discretion and with your study permit of 2 years you can extend his visa in Canada, he's also entitled to attend school and your spouse an open work permit. Sha make sure you have visa before you go on yr vacation o, as your study permit won't allow u in 1 Like |

Did your son do medical? If no, then it is most likely to do with medical. To stay more than 6 months in Canada, you must undergo a medical examination. Don’t let this bother you. You can extend your son's stay by applying for a visitor record quin9: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by bullstriker: 11:18pm On May 30, 2022 |
There is no specific answer to this question. One visa officer might deem it enough, and another might not. They look at different aspects of an application to determine ties. To stand a good chance, ensure that your application is strong in every area, not just home ties. Uzoamaka123: 1 Like |

Kainos22: Mine is the opposite. I've passed every section except medicals and I've been waiting for medical update since February. It's been 3 months and two weeks. I got my request since October and have been requested to offer additional information twice. You'd think that the waste of time on their part would make me eligible for a quick processing after submitting the additional information but here we are. If you think it's bad, it can always be worse. |

starrez: Your chances are the same as those of anyone under 30. Age is not a limiting factor. The relationships between your work experience, profession, reason of study and how well you link everything together among others are the things that determine the chances of visa approval. 1 Like |

efeturi3: I think what @Blessed451 is saying is that you should ensure your visa is still valid and has not expired before you leave Canada, so you don’t have issues getting back in. Visas and study permit both serve different purposes. The student visa grants you access to board the plane and enter Canada while the study permit legalises your stay. Don’t forget that a fresh interview would always be conducted each time immigrants get into the country despite exiting the country with legal papers, so you would face the obvious questions again . Why are you coming into Canada?, How long are you staying? Etc. The officer expects you to be in school studying, so you have to prepare your responses in case the line of questions rally rounds the reason for exiting Canada, duration of absence from school and the date you decide to get back into Canada. 2 Likes |

geotherm: Her funding is too low. As others have suggested, it only covers her tuition. What of her 10k living expenses? What of money for her family in Nigeria? She needs to show she can afford the program without her family suffering. It is hard to get visa without extra funds when you married with kids, even if family will stay in Nigeria. Home tie is also more than socio. There is also the economic part depicted by good and well paying job. Does she have that currently? If yes, did she submit evidence of her employment? |
